*GUI Sheng means "value of life" in Mandarin. This expression has its origin in one of the oldest books in Chinese history, the LUSHICHUNQIU, the book of universal knowledge. It was written in 241 BC and written by more than 300 scientists. The title of the second chapter of the second section of the book is "Gui Sheng", the value of life. "Tang" is the most important place in a house and at the time of writing LUSHICHUNQIU, this word was often used as a synonym for hospital. So Gui Sheng Tang can be translated as: A medical centre where life is considered precious.
