Before it was Christmas, it was Saturnalia — a feast of light.
Long before modern holidays, this time of year marked a turning point.
During the darkest days of the year, people celebrated the return to light.
A reminder that even in darkness, something begins again.
Saturnalia wasn’t about perfection or productivity.
It was about rest, release, and remembering what matters.
The light we celebrate isn’t only external.
It lives quietly within us — steady, patient, unchanged by the season.
Sometimes the most meaningful ritual is simply turning inward
and remembering that light is already there.
This is the same rhythm I work with inside my Moon Phase Journal — returning, not forcing.

This season doesn’t have to be about doing more.
It can be about dialling the volume down — even briefly.
A pause.
A breath.
A moment to return to yourself.

I didn’t create this journal because it was trendy.
I created it because I needed it first.
There was a time when I felt disconnected from myself.
Not overwhelmed. Not burnt out.
Just… out of sync.
Life kept moving, and I kept moving with it, but something inside felt blurry.
The only thing that helped me come back to myself was journalling with the Moon.
The Moon gave me a pace:
a moment to pause,
a reason to reflect,
a simple rhythm to return to.
Awaken Under the Moon began as my own practice — a way to understand my emotional patterns and reconnect with myself gently.
I created this journal for anyone who’s been feeling disconnected, stretched thin, or unsure how to rebuild a meaningful routine.
Sometimes we don’t need discipline.
We just need rhythm.

Hey! My name is Celine Petrillo and I am a Spiritual Life Coach. Why? Ever since I embarked on this journey of releasing my FOMO and instead started BEING and then doing what makes me happy, content and satisfied, I realised that my calling was to help others experience the same inner peace and contentment without feeling guilty or scared of judgement. I will help clear your energy blocks and dissolve the negative beliefs you carried with you from past experiences. I will be your cheerleader and motivator and will do my utmost to inspire you to become more the person you were destined to BE. I lead a simple but very mindful life and wish to help you gain awareness that what you are looking for is actually something you already possess.
What we need is not just the theory but also help in getting organised and act upon our knowledge. We get immersed in so much content nowadays on how to be, how to act, what to eat, what to dress, how to smell. Every day we scroll down hundreds of images and click on thousands of words. We bookmark tens of pages so that we can read them when we’re quiet… but we never get quiet, right?
I’m guilty of this as well; my Safari app has over 20 open tabs with articles I was meant to read. Have I read them… all? Not yet. We tend to hoard information just in case, like having a nice dress for a “Just-In-Case” occasion.
My passion is to put all that content into practice and make it a conscious and positive habit in my life. I love taking my time to eat, and just sit in silence with myself (especially when my sons are tucked in bed). There is something about their sweet sleepy faces at night that gives me inner peace.
