I’m deeply honored to have been granted a scholarship for the Zaldivar ICL Immersive Course in Mendoza, Argentina 🇦🇷.

A huge thank you to and Dr Carlos Gordillo for having me and for organizing such an outstanding learning experience. The program was truly immersive; though, as Dr. Zaldivar joked, maybe it should have been called the “ICL Intensive Course”! 😅

Beyond the lectures and live surgeries, what stood out most was the passion, innovation, and sense of community that define the Zaldivar Institute. I’m leaving inspired, with new knowledge, new friendships, and a renewed commitment to excellence in ophthalmology.

I was delighted to attend the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2025 Annual Meeting in Orlando this year. It was an inspiring experience to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and explore the latest advancements shaping the future of ophthalmology.

One of the highlights for me was participating in a hands-on course on iris suturing and another on advanced OCT interpretation. Both sessions provided invaluable insights and practical skills that I’m excited to incorporate into my clinical practice.

Events like AAO remind me how dynamic and collaborative our field truly is. I’m returning with renewed motivation to keep learning and to continue providing the highest standard of care for my patients.

Had the wonderful opportunity to experience a couple of days of learning at the Alcon Experience Center in Panama! We explored multifocal and toric lenses in depth. Special thanks to Dr. Ivo Ferreira for sharing his expertise and guiding the course!

Feeling deeply honored and grateful to receive this award for my patent in collaboration with Universidad El Bosque! This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the amazing support of my team and mentors. Huge thanks to everyone involved for making this project a reality.
