🩷🎀🩸THE 4 PHASES OF YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE 🩷🎀🩸
🩷💞You probably already know that your menstrual cycle goes through several phases which have a big role to play on your mood and how you plan your days.
Today, we’re going to talk about the menstrual phase ; the moment when your body goes through major physical, emotional, and even energetic changes that you need to understand and adapt to.
1🩸 Menstrual phase : day 1 to 5
During this phase, your hormones are generally at their lowest. This causes a drop in energy and productivity, which means your body is asking you to rest, good sleep and soft stretches.
2🎀 Follicular phase :from the end of your period to around day 13.
Your ovaries prepare an egg, and the endometrium rebuilds itself.
Your estrogen levels rise, and your energy and mood are at their best.
Your energy is high , you become creative, motivated, and very focused.
This is the perfect time to start new projects.
3🌸Ovulatory phase : around day 14 (for a 28-day cycle)
The egg is released and it is the most fertile period.
There’s a peak in estrogen and a rise in testosterone, which leads to increased self-confidence ,a stronger libido. If you have an important video to shoot, or a presentation to do at work, this is the right moment.
If a baby is desired \rightarrow Ideal period.
4💞Luteal Phase after ovulation until menstruation (14 days)
The body awaits a possible pregnancy, progesterone is high at the beginning, calm then drops before menstruation.
Some women are irritable during this period.
Stay calm, take warm baths, reduce sugar and coffee.
