A December Story People Don’t Talk About

On the 20th of December, people were busy preparing. Food everywhere. Meat on fire. Generator running. Music loud. Everyone happy.

In one compound, the generator was brought closer to the house because rain was coming. Doors were slightly closed. “It’s just for a while,” someone said.
Later that evening, the house went quiet.
When help arrived, two people were already weak. One was unconscious. Headache. Dizziness. Vomiting. They didn’t fight. They didn’t shout. They just slept and didn’t wake well.

It was not witchcraft.
It was not stress.
It was fumes.

Carbon monoxide has no smell. It doesn’t warn you. It just replaces oxygen quietly.
This season, many people will cook late, sleep tired, use generators, charcoal, gas. Be careful.
Never place generators near windows or doors.
Do not sleep in rooms with burning charcoal.
Ventilation saves lives.

December is not dangerous. Carelessness is.
Please protect yourself and those around you.

✓ After period:Brown or light discharge leftover old blood, totally normal.
✓ Clear discharge: Ovulation time! Your body is most fertile now nature’s way of saying “ready!”

✅ These changes are healthy and normal.

But if you notice itching, foul smell, or unusual colors seek medical advice.

World AIDS Day Was Yesterday But The Conversation Must Continue

HIV is not a death sentence.

It is a health condition that many people are living with, managing, and overcoming every single day.
What truly matters is awareness, prevention, testing, and early treatment.

To everyone who has survived, who is managing their health, or supporting someone who is living with HIV your strength is inspiring.

To those who haven’t tested in a long time, take responsibility for your health. Your peace of mind is worth it.
And to our healthcare workers and caregivers, your commitment to saving lives matters.

Let’s keep learning.
Let’s keep encouraging.
Let’s keep breaking the stigma with correct information and compassion.

Professional Conduct & The Power of Your Daily Attitude

Good morning family,

One thing every Christian nurse must understand is this:
Your attitude is part of your uniform.

A clean uniform is good…
But a clean attitude is better.

Every shift you walk into is someone’s pain, someone’s fear, someone’s prayer point. That is why our behavior matters greatly:

— Be calm even when a patient is anxious
— Speak gently even when they don’t understand
— Let your actions reflect patience
— Maintain confidentiality at all times
— Treat every patient with the same respect you’d want for your own mother or father

Sometimes the best care is not the drug you give…
It is the peace you bring.

As Christian nurses, we must carry a spirit that comforts, a heart that listens, and hands that heal. Let your attitude preach before your words do.

Has your attitude ever improved a situation for a patient, colleague, or family member?

– Listen before responding.
– Make them feel heard and valued.

– Give hope without false promises.
– Let your presence bring peace.

5. Non-judgmental
