Call for Applications

The management of A&H institute of Health Management Limbe invites applications for a post of A senior management staff.
This is a senior academic leader responsible for overseeing the institution’s educational programs, research activities and overall operations under the authority of the Dean. This includes curriculum development, general management, student support and ensuring compliance with accreditation regulations.
Main responsibilities
- Academic leadership: work in line with the vision and strategic direction of the board of directors and aligning with the mission of the institution.
- Coordinating curriculum development and ensuring its relevance to current standards and future needs.
- Promoting a culture of excellence in teaching, research and cooperation.
- Ensuring quality in the instructional process and student learning outcomes.
- Coordinating and mentoring staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Administrative management:
- Ensuring strict implementation of the institution’s budget and use of resources.
- Taking part in recruitment, and assessment of performance of staff.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and accreditation standards.
- Fostering a thriving research environment and collaboration.
- Ensuring the ethical conduct of research and compliance with relevant regulations
Student support and engagement:
- Coordinating and supporting student admission and academic progress.
- Addressing student concerns and ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Promote student engagement and success through various initiatives.
External relations:
- Representing the institution upon delegation to external stakeholders, including alumni, professional organizations and the wider community.
- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant institutions and organizations.
- Advocating for the institution and its programs within the institution and beyond.
Qualifications required:
- Typically, a Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing Education, Public Health or relevant health field or extensive experience in teaching, research and administration for at least five years in similar role.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Language requirement: Fluent in English, Knowledge of French language will be an added advantage.
- Have a mastery of the HND and LMD systems of the Cameroon Higher Education sector.

Interested applicants should submit the following documents to the secretariat of A&H Institute of Health Management situated behind the eneo power plant at mile 3 in Limbe or through the email: info@anhinsthm.com on or before 3:30pm, Thursday August 28, 2025. Documents sent through email should be in MS-Word or pdf format.
1. Written application addressed to the chairman Board of directors A&H Institute of Health Management, Limbe, Fako Division, South West Region, Cameroon.
2. Copies of academic certificates
3. A curriculum vitae with referees
4. A motivation letter
5. Copy of national identity card
6. Any documents to support experience
Selected candidates will be invited for interviews on Saturday August 30, 2025, at the school campus at 10am. The retained applicant should be ready to assume duties soon after the interview.
