Have you ever thought about giving a furry friend a home? 🏡❤️ On this loving day of , we want to talk about the important journey from shelter to new home. Recent data shows that over 66% of people are willing to open their homes to shelter pets, which is fantastic! But the first step in welcoming a new family member—a health check—is crucial!

From the shelter to your couch, it's more than just a change of location; it's a lifelong turning point for your dog's health. Here's a super detailed [New Home Health Screening Process and Tips] to help you and your new friend start your new life smoothly!

🐾 Step 1: Do Your Homework Before Saying Goodbye to the Shelter
Ask carefully! Be sure to ask the staff for all of your dog's medical records: What vaccinations has it received? When was it last dewormed? Are there any skin conditions or other special conditions that require attention? This is a responsibility you owe to your dog and the rest of your family (including other pets).

🐾 Step 2: Welcome Home! A "Soft Landing" for the First Few Days
Don't rush! A dog will be nervous and fearful when they first arrive home. Give them a quiet, comfortable corner (such as a padded carrier) and let them explore on their own.
