The nasal cannula (NC) is a device used to deliver supplemental oxygen or increased airflow to a patient or person in need of respiratory help. This device consists of a lightweight tube which on one end splits into two prongs which are placed in the nostrils and from which a mixture of air and oxygen flows.

Non-rebreathing masks are used to deliver high concentrations of oxygen in emergency situations. These masks may be used for traumatic injuries, after smoke inhalation, and in cases of carbon monoxide poisoning. The Mask has an attached reservoir bag which is able to avoid rebreathing.it isn't available for home use.
