Day 2 of the Acupuncture for Emergency Care CAM 2026 course and the intensity is still high.

Grateful to the CAM organisation and to the three professors for the invitation, and especially for inviting me to demonstrate my approach to Neuro Channel Electro Acupuncture within this clinically focused setting.

Two days fully immersed in acute
care strategies, fast assessment, refined point selection and hands on therapeutic thinking, while strengthening connections with advanced acupuncture training initiatives alongside The TCM Community.

Always inspiring to exchange
methods, perspectives and clinical experience at this level.

Day one of the Acupuncture for Emergency Care CAM 2026 course has started and we are here on site with The TCM Community.

An intensive and clinically focused program aimed at acute care, fast assessment and effective therapeutic responses.

Over the next two days, participants will work with:

• Strategic meridians and points for acute conditions

• Extra points and microsystems

• Yamamoto scalp acupuncture

• Wrist–Ankle technique

• Clinical reasoning in emergency care

Great to be here and to strengthen connections with high-level acupuncture training initiatives.

Um programa intensivo e muito clínico, focado em situações agudas, raciocínio rápido e resposta terapêutica eficaz.

Durante estes dois dias, os participantes vão aprofundar:

• Meridianos e pontos estratégicos para quadros agudos

• Pontos extras e microssistemas

• Craniopuntura de Yamamoto

• Técnica de Punho–Tornozelo

• Raciocínio clínico aplicado ao pronto atendimento

Hoje tive a honra de visitar in loco o Projeto Acupuntura Rocinha (PAR), no Rio de Janeiro, uma iniciativa inspiradora que amplia o acesso à acupuntura para moradores encaminhados pelas unidades de saúde locais.

Também trouxe comigo uma doação muito especial: agulhas oferecidas pela The TCM Community e pela AsiaMed.

O PAR é conduzido com enorme dedicação pela Dra. Julia D’ Ippolito e pelo fisioterapeuta Wagner Rocha Gonçalves, profissionais que mostram, na prática, como a medicina integrativa pode gerar impacto real na saúde pública.

Parcerias, cuidado e compromisso com a comunidade. É assim que se constrói futuro.

Today I had the honor of visiting the Projeto Acupuntura Rocinha (PAR) on site in Rio de Janeiro, an inspiring initiative expanding access to acupuncture for residents referred by local health clinics.

I was also able to bring a very special donation: acupuncture needles generously provided by The TCM Community and AsiaMed.

PAR is led with great dedication by Dr. Julia D’ Ippolito and physical therapist Wagner Rocha Gonçalves, professionals who show, in practice, how integrative medicine can create real impact in public health.

Partnerships, care, and commitment to the community. That’s how the future is built.

Nuestro taller con y .education.center apoyado por .community sobre canales energéticos y neuroanatomía, desde un enfoque clínico en electroacupuntura y neuroacupuntura, fue todo un éxito.

Tuvimos participantes presenciales y online en vivo, conectados desde distintos lugares, compartiendo una experiencia intensa, práctica y profundamente enriquecedora. 🙌🧠⚡

✨ The TCM Community in Dialogue ✨

The TCM Community was represented by our Vice President Angie Calor-Man at the inspiring event “Perspectives on Traditional Chinese Medicine”, hosted by IIAS.

Colleagues explored the role of Taiwan and the global opportunities of Traditional Chinese Medicine, highlighting how ancient wisdom and modern healthcare can meaningfully strengthen one another.
