It was more than a surf trip; it was a dream realized. With each wave, we embraced the endless skies and the boundless sea, forging an unforgettable adventure together.

Surfing with my loyal companion by my side reminded me that with love and a little salt water, life is an exhilarating ride.

I hear very often that Jack is a very lucky dog because he can always travel with me and know so many different countries. But knowing him like I do, I sense that it doesn't matter to him if we are in the most luxurious hotel or in a street in the middle of nowhere, what truly matters is that we are together.

If you watch closely, a dog can teach you the things that truly matter in life like friends, family and enjoying the most simple things in a most delightful way. People often ask me where are we heading next, but is not a place that we are looking for.

Traveling is not about going to a destination, is about the person that you will become after that journey. And more often than not, you will find out something about you that you ignored and that will take you to where you need to be.

And money? Another key question, right?

Money will make itself present when you find your mission and you become who you need to be. Easier said than done, but just look inside you, to find the quintessence of life.

He who looks outside is dreaming and he who looks inside awakens.

When one door closes another will open. Just breath and close your eyes for one moment, your heart knows where you must go: You just need to feel it. And following our heart we started a new chapter in South America.

A close friend strongly recommended us to come to Porto Alegre.

"Alegre" means happy in Portuguese. I constantly made jokes when they asked us why we came here, I said that we came to see why the people are so happy here.

Surprisingly it was true, people turned out to be very happy always taking a sunbathe or exercising outside. Almost always very polite and friendly, Jack has made many Brazilian small friends.

Before coming here, for one moment I felt unsure because I didn't know how it would be. But know looking in retrospective from the other side, I feel very happy we decided once more, to breach the limits of what we think possible.

In this new chapter we will let South America surprise us in the good way, with its people and its magnificent culture. Jack has many places left to sniff... 🇦🇷🇧🇷🇺🇾

After living in Europe for many years, this was just one day before leaving that continent which gave us so much, so much joy and sometimes sorrow for missing things that once were and ceased to be. During this trip to Amsterdam we had so many mixed emotions, happiness for seeing our family members, eating other food, enjoying the nice weather and so on. But at the same time I felt nostalgic for leaving all my past life behind.

Like a snake we have to change skins, learn new ways and evolve to become the things we never expected to be. And today after almost 2 years, it is time to write a new chapter. One where all the things we ever dreamed of will become true, one where we will pursue or destinies and fulfill them. I don't know where will the future send us tomorrow, but I know that we will be in the company of our loved ones.

That particular day at the Bulldog Café in Amsterdam will forever live in eternity in my heart, for it was the day when I truly understood that we should not fear the end, because every end is a new beginning. Today starting a new chapter in our lives we are full of hope and strength. Our wildest dreams of another time only scratched the surface of what is possible in the present.

PD: We have a very big surprise for all of you very soon, you never saw a dog in so many places as you will see Jack 🐶

Everything lasts just for one moment, everyday the sun sets and comes up again. Everyday something finishes just to restart once more. All moments are frail and they will eventually vanish.

Therefore the only option we are presented with, is to live every single moment to the fullest. Put all of our emotions and consciousness into the present moment, enjoy the company of our loved ones and rediscover that true happiness comes from within and not from external objects.

Jack teaches me this every single day, how he just stares at children playing as he is completely immersed in the moment. The greatest teachers we can find out there come in the most unexpected ways . He taught me that understanding and patience are the key of true happiness.

Have you ever felt like you are totally going to be rejected? That day I was visiting the Mercedes Benz Gallery in Berlin and I was completely sure that they wouldn't allow Jack to be there, even being a service dog

But sometimes you just need to relax and do the things in spite of any uncertainty or fear. Just to see what happens... And you always have pleasant surprises.

People at the Gallery were completely welcoming and nice, they even wanted to make pictures with Jack. A most unexpected outcome 🙈❤️

Jack reminds me of the meaning of freedom and happiness, that is exactly the meaning of friendship.

After this adventure I took him for the best Bratwurst in town, he looked even happier than in this picture 🤣

I was baffled by the beauty of this landscape, at the immensity of Mother Nature it's impossible not to appreciate the small things in life, all the memories we have, all the laughs and good people that have crossed our path. But also appreciating the bad things and the tears because we are big not in spite of them, but because of them.

Big Bear Lake is an amazing place, but we could see how the economy is soaring due to the crisis, many businesses have closed their doors indefinitely. We can only stay strong now. Take care of our loved ones. It is during these times that we learn to value the things that truly matter.

Never lose the faith, never lose your essence, the sun will come out once more very soon. 🕉

It is amazing how nature always transforms itself and through this transformation we transform ourselves. It transforms our lives and through accepting the cycle of life we can transcend.

In the words of a Buddhist sage, if you want the secret of true happiness is to wish that the others are happy. That originates all the joy and positive energy in this world.

On the other hand, if you only want to be happy yourself, that originates all the grief and negativity in this world.

Today a new member of the Ben and Jack family is ready to start having his own adventures, we wish him all the joy and happiness in this world.

Seeing her happy only fuels our own happiness. Welcome little one 🐾🖤🕉

Jack went through the surgery successfully, I want to thank everyone for their support. I think that many times unexpected people help us in our path and we never have the chance to help them back.

But it is our duty to help another being when you are in the position of helping them.

Yesterday we found a lost dog on the street and he almost got hit. I couldn’t bring him home because Jack had surgery en he was a puppy. After walking for 3 hours with him we found people that saw him before and they pointed out at a house that had a plate full of fresh dog food. I knew it was the place because that’s what you do when you are desperate to find your pet.

The owners were so happy to see their friend again that I felt that I gave back some of the good moments and feelings that our people have given us. If we all help a being when we have the chance, I’m sure that this world will be a better place. 🕊🌎💙

Obi is a survivor, we got him from an animal shelter. It is most likely that he got afraid from the fire and escaped his home. Because we found him during the wildfire season here in California.

He is such a nice fella, he is always so friendly and it seems to me that he smiles at us constantly. It is amazing how much gratitude an animal can show without words. The purest gestures of love and generosity don’t need any words anyway…

When we open our hearts and our family to new possibilites all wounds can heal. Because when we help someone help we only heal ourselves.

Even if he feels like family we decided that when the lockdown is over we will take him to Costa Rica to an amazing bird refuge, I feel in my heart that he will find peace and the love of the thousands of friends that he will make. In the end when we truly love someone we do whatever is best for them, isn’t it?

This is who we are.

Since I was two years old I remember to have a dog at my home, our first dog was a Rottweiler. I remember how people were scared of our dog but he was really loving and gentle with me. Sometimes even my father was afraid when I put my hand inside of his mouth, from that very early age I felt a deep connection with animals.

Over the years I had the opportunity to spend time with different animals, during these experiences I developed a particular sensitivity for dogs.

When I was 19 years old, I decided to have my own personal dog because the others were from the whole family. That is how I ended up looking for shelters on the internet and I saw the pictures of this really cute dog. After I convinced my family we drove 200 miles just to find a dog in a shelter that came from an irresponsible breeder who only wanted to make money, he was in really poor conditions, he was in a severe malnutrition condition, his face full of cuts. At this was just on the outside, after medical examinations he had all kinds of infections. My family just at first sight recommended me to leave him and get another dog

But I felt something inside of me when this dog looked into my eyes, I just asked the person at the shelter to give me a leash. This was the first time that Jack was walking on grass, I remember his face of surprise at this new feeling… From that first moment he followed me everywhere, which was odd to the caregivers there because he was always afraid after they abused him at this breeder’s place
