I had an amazing three-week experience at .carpediem, teaching yoga to so many wonderful people. The surrounding nature and beautiful atmosphere were a big part of what made it so special. I met incredible souls with whom I shared deep and meaningful connections.

La Candelaria is full of colors, narrow streets, great food, authenticity, and very friendly people.

It feels safe during the daytime, though I wouldn’t recommend walking alone at night.

There are polices all over Bogotá, including in La Candelaria, which helps create a sense of safety.

Travelling alone as a woman in Colombia is completely possible. I often hear people ask, “How can you travel alone in Colombia?” Of course, you need to be careful and mindful—just as you would anywhere else—but there’s no need to be overly cautious.

This is my fourth time in Colombia, and that says a lot. I have met incredibly kind people, and I love Colombia’s authentic, vibrant energy.
This country opens my mind and perspective every time I visit and pushes me to grow as a person.

I like the fact that tourism hasn’t spoiled this country yet. Its authenticity is one of the most beautiful things here, even though it isn’t always pretty.

I highly recommend that people from Northern Europe experience Colombia and South America. You stop worrying about the little things and begin to appreciate everything you have and learn to live in the moment.
I’m convinced that experiencing this kind of environment could help reduce depression and su***de rates among people in northern countries. Unfortunately, Finland is among the countries with the highest su***de rates.

Life is a mystery, and so it is meant to be. Thus, understanding life is secondary and, in fact, impossible.

The most important thing is to experience and feel everything that comes our way. From experiencing and feeling, new life is born, along with the steps toward the next.

When we allow ourselves to feel, something truly beautiful can emerge—something we may never have expected in our minds.

Allow yourself to experience and feel life, for that, above all, is what wonderfully guides our journey forward.

Life gets exciting when we think that we are on a constant journey where is no destination. Every second and moment is important..
Our mind wants to plan and do things certain way and look at the future, but our heart wants us to stay present and let the moment leads us.
