If you have any book or clothing donations, here’s a great cause...

December 12th we are doing another Clothes and book sale to raise money so we can give the community a nice full food bag this Christmas. Please bring your clothes and or books to Rich Coast Diving from Tuesday to Friday between 9 & 12 pm.
Help us give them a special Christmas.

Coco Library (Biblioteca Playas del Coco) currently receives children's books in all languages, reference books in Spanish and English, and fiction and non-fiction books in Spanish.

Library members may check out up to three books at a time; membership is only c1,000.

Come check out a book during regular library hours:
Monday - Thursday 3pm - 6pm
Closed Fridays
Saturday 10am - 12pm
Closed Sundays

The Luperon Recycling Center receives all types of cardboard, paper, and tetra packs. Tetra packs must be rinsed out, clean, dry, and flattened. Cardboard must be clean, free of any food or oils, and flattened.

Please bring all flattened cardboard, tetra packs, and paper recycling in a paper bag or cardboard box. The center cannot accept cardboard and papers delivered in small plastic bags, but will accept paper materials delivered in extra large garbage bags, even if the large bags are not completely full.

The Recycling Center is open to receive items
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Saturday 8am - 12pm
Closed Sundays

RECYCLABLE CATEGORIES
Please separate cardboard and paper recycling items from other recyclables; the recycling center cannot accept mixed recyclables. All recyclables must be separated by category. Please read the details about each recyclable category, and contact the center with any questions. Thank you! ​

​The Luperon Recycling Center is located off of Main Street Playas del Coco, next to Supermercado Luperon, behind Yamaha.

Roger Garcia and Guillermo Barrera run and operate the recycling center; the space is provided by Supermercado Luperon, who has sponsored recycling in Coco for many years.

Coco Yoga & Wellness receives used picture frames, mirror frames, and bulletin boards to use for art craft projects.

For plastic frames, frames must be in good condition. For wood and metal frames, broken frames and fragments are accepted as well. However, we cannot accept broken glass or mirror fragments; please plan to dispose of these safely before bringing in frames.

Frames and bulletin boards may be brought to the studio Wednesday afternoons 3:00 - 8:00 pm during Coco Night Market.
