The countdown is officially on for my yoga retreat in Costa Rica! 🇨🇷✨ with . I’m so incredibly excited to immerse myself in the Pura Vida lifestyle, specifically to learn, rest, and renew in the jungle and by the ocean. The best part? I’ll be bringing all of that renewed energy and new insights back to my amazing students (that’s you!) to enrich our practice together. *What Are Intentions?
Intentions are mindful declarations of how we want to align our energies and efforts in our daily lives. Unlike resolutions, which are often specific goals or outcomes, intentions are about our ongoing journey and the values we wish to embody.

*What are the Benefits of Setting Intentions?
-Flexibility: Intentions allow for adaptability as life unfolds, unlike resolutions that can feel like fixed endpoints.
-Mindfulness: They encourage living in the present, focusing on how we approach each moment.

WE’RE STRONGER TOGETHER! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Bend and Breathe for B***s yoga fundraisers, and to those who couldn’t make it in person, but still generously donated. Together we raised $380 for the Ellie Fund. I hope to continue to raise awareness for breast cancer and help support local families struggling with the impact this disease has left on themselves and their families. Thank you again for your loving support and generosity. 🙏🏻❤️🧘‍♀️

I am thrilled to have Deanna join me at the studio!
Starting next week Deanna will be taking over the 6 PM vinyasa on Tuesday nights and Friday mornin at 8! 😍
Deanna completed her 200-hour YTT certification with UPY (Universal Power Yoga) in 2024. Her journey through teacher training was life-changing in every positive way. She gained a community of new friends, a deep connection to her mind, body, and soul, and she discovered a type of self-awareness she had never had before. Deanna strives to bring out that awareness in each of her students and prides herself on teaching with authenticity. Deanna went on to complete her 15-hour certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga through UPY with Three and a Half Acres Yoga and Lara Land. She is also certified through the American Red Cross in Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid. Deanna is currently half way through her 300-hour YTT certification also with UPY.
Deanna currently teaches All Levels Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, Heated Power, and Restorative. She’s had the pleasure of offering workshops in her community and has also led a practice with high school student-athletes and a children’s summer camp. Being a teacher brings her so much joy, but she will forever be a student. She loves to learn new styles, ideas, and concepts and integrate them into her classes.
When she’s not on her mat you may find her in the gym, enjoying a long outdoor walk or spending time with her 3 children and granddaughter. Deanna lives life with no regrets, her only wish is that she discovered yoga sooner!
