Why? Could be a combination of things - hormonal birth control preventing ovulation, lack of funding for s*x education in schools, lack of generational knowledge so passing down this info is non existent, big pharma profiting off of lack of body autonomy - the list goes on!

Feeling irregularity in your cycles, mood & hormones?

These things can be impacting you 👇

1. Binge drinking often🍻

Excessive alcohol consumption is linked to lower estrogen levels in women. This could lead to anovulation (not ovulating).

2. Drinking coffee before breakfast☕️

This can spike blood sugar & cortisol, increasing SHBG which can in turn dump excess estrogen into your system.

3. Running everyday🏃🏻‍♀️

Your body needs different exercise depending on where it’s at in your cycle! Running in your late luteal and menstrual phase when the body needs rest can put your body into fight or flight mode and spike cortisol, in turn impacting hormones. Can also potentially lead to amenorrhea

4. Not prioritizing sleep😴

Your body needs rest! Keep cortisol levels in check, give your body the time to rejuvenate.

5. Taking Plan B or Queen Anne’s Lace often💊

These “morning after” supplements impact your hormones! While taking them every once in a while in emergencies are most likely OK, taking them regularly can impact hormone regulation, especially progesterone levels.

6. Over scheduling yourself📆

Similar to #3, there are certain times in your cycle where you could thrive on busy schedules (ovulation). However, if you’re constantly over booked throughout your entire cycle - your body will not only reach burnout, but will also be lacking the necessary rest during your late luteal and menstrual phase.

Let’s talk basal body temperature (BBT) 🌡️✨
Your BBT is the lowest body temp your body hits at rest and tracking it daily is a great tool when using the fertility awareness (whether your goal is conception or natural birth control).

The thing is… it can be tricky to get accurate readings with a standard thermometer (you need the same time every morning, uninterrupted sleep, etc). That’s where comes in. 🙌 You wear it overnight, and it takes the guesswork out of BBT tracking so you don’t have to wake up at the same time every morning.
