How do you imagine a strategy session? An offsite meeting, suits, PowerPoint presentations? Ours looks a bit different.
Once a year, we stop everything for four days and bring the whole team into one online space to look at what we’ve built and where we’re going next. We call it Seasons. It’s our version of a strategy session, but with everyone involved, no matter their role, team, or location.
Over those days, people walk through what actually happened, what didn’t work, and what’s coming next, while others jump in with questions, reactions, or context.
There’s a lot happening around it too. Music, side conversations, jokes, but by the end, everyone leaves with a clear sense of direction and how their work fits into it.
Behind the scenes, the ops team plans everything in detail so the whole thing doesn’t feel like a formal event. As Sasha Smirnova, Operations Manager behind Seasons, puts it:
“This year was a big milestone for me personally. With all the changes to how we plan and some last-minute adjustments, I’m proud of what the team pulled off. Bringing the whole company together through a remote ritual, and making it feel like something people actually want to be part of — that’s the work I care about most.”
Each year also has its own theme and visual style, created by our design team.
