Paphos Cat Ladies

Paphos Cat Ladies Over 120 street cats in Old Town Paphos are looked after at feeding points in 5 locations. The cats, who don't belong to anyone, are fed and cared for.

This is done by a group of volunteers, including Gaynor who has fed cats for over 30 years.

Thank you so much for all the donations you have made over the past year. They are greatly appreciated. All the money goes for feeding, neutering or paying vet bills. Did you know it only costs 2 euros a week to feed a cat? That doesn't seem much but when there are over 150 it soon adds up! Please help if you can. If you have any other ideas for fundraising please share them.

Ginger recently got bitten by another cat, leading to an abscess that caused pain and limping. We took him to the vet, and he's now on the mend, but the treatment cost over 100 euros. We have had a lot of cats needing vet care lately, every contribution helps cover these costs. Please consider donating or sharing to support Ginger and others needing urgent vet care. Good news. Thanks to the efforts of one of the Paphos Cat Ladies team Ginger is back with his colony. The absess on his leg has been treated and he is on long term antibiotics. We have had to use some of our medical fund for his treatment. Sometimes people ask how best to donate. Obviously it is a matter of choice. We use Go Fund me and have a monthly food fundraiser......another option, if you are in Paphos, is to leave a donation at Petzstuffcyprus We also have dedicated Go Fund Me for medical bills and neutering. We keep a record of what was raised and how it was used and can share this. All.the Go Fund me money is spent on looking after the cats.
