Paphos Cat Lady

It is with much sadness that we learn of the passing of Richard Maddock. Richard was an avid supporter and friend to the Paphos Cat Lady team for many, many years.

Richard had previously helped Gaynor with feeding when she had her various knee, hip and spine operations. Richard also contributed very generously to our fundraisers, helped with social media ideas and generally supported all things 'Paphos Cat Lady'.

Richard was affectionately known as 'Cheap Richard' by Gaynor, a nickname he found particularly hilarious. His funeral is today and he will be buried at sea.

You will be greatly missed Richard. Our sincere thanks, gratitude and love for all the help and friendship you gave to Gaynor and the Paphos street cats over the years.

Which generous person would like to be the first to donate? We know we keep asking for donations but every penny is needed by Gaynor and the volunteers to feed over 120 cats and kittens. We genuinely wish we didn't need to ask but sadly we do. Please help.by donating or sharing. Thank you.

URGENT Danger from caterpillars. If anyone is visiting or lives in Papho do not feed the cats at the Marys. This stop.is very close to Nero and extra food will be put there. The cats do not stay in one place and will still be fed. Please help us by doing this.

Two days to go......March Food fundraiser goes live on Saturday. I know its been a tough couple of months for everyone but big thank you to everyone who has donated. At present Nikki is trying to keep the cats safe from a caterpillar invasion. These can cause all sorts of problems for our furry friends.

So far we haven't had any donations. I know this is tough month but please help if you can. All donations large or small are welcome.
This is Dollar, a sweet cat who was found at one of the feeding stations. She had several health issues, including the removal of eight teeth, and has been neutered. She can’t go back to living on the streets, so Tala Cats is fostering her and working hard to find her a loving home. We are incredibly grateful to Tala for stepping in to help her. Donations will go directly toward covering her vet bills and supporting her care while she’s with Tala. Every little bit helps, whether it’s a small or large donation. The Mayfair is the area where there are most cats. Volunteers help feed the cats here and as you can see there are cats of every size and colour. We think there are about forty mouths to feed. Sometimes cats get dumped so we arrange to get them neutered. If any need vet treatment we arrange that. This is only possible because of your support. Thank you.
