🌙 Do you struggle to see at night? You might be experiencing night blindness! 👀
This condition makes it harder to see in dim light or darkness, especially when driving at night, in the rain, or fog. People with night blindness often find it difficult to move around in dark spaces, avoid obstacles or navigate safely, which can increase the risk of falls or accidents. 🤕

🧐 What causes it?
▪︎ Genetics – Some inherited retinal conditions can lead to poor night vision.
▪︎ Vitamin A deficiency – This vitamin plays a key role in healthy eyesight. Low levels can affect how well you see in low light.
▪︎ Cataracts – If your vision worsens in dim conditions, a cataract could be the reason.

🔦 How to spot it?

💡 What can you do?

Do you know the main vision problems that can sometimes give you quite a fright? 👻 If you feel like your sight isn’t as clear as it used to be, it might be caused by one of the following refractive errors. Let’s take a closer look:

1️⃣ Myopia (short-sightedness): You can see well up close, but distant objects appear blurry. This problem often affects students and drivers.

Summer is over, but are eye allergies still bothering you? 😢 The culprit is the high pollen levels left over from the hot summer, combined with the dry autumn air. 🍂 How can you prevent or ease unpleasant symptoms such as watery eyes, itching, redness, light sensitivity, swelling or temporary blurred vision? 👇

✅ Don’t rub your eyes – it can make the allergy worse
✅ Keep your windows closed at night and also when driving
✅ Vacuum regularly to reduce allergens at home
✅ Avoid going outside in the early morning or late evening, when pollen levels are highest
✅ Don’t use decongestant eye drops for redness relief too often – frequent use can actually make the problem worse
✅ If you wear contact lenses, consider switching to daily disposables to prevent pollen build-up
✅ Ask your eye doctor to recommend suitable eye drops
