One month ago, we brought you home from the hospital, and since then we’ve been by your side every day — caring for you, supporting you, and guiding your recovery.

In this short time, you’ve made amazing progress:

• Your walking is more stable.
• We can flex your foot much better now and the foot-drop therapy is working.
• Hot and cold foot baths are helping your circulation and Nerv Stimulation After compartment Syndrom
• We are preparing to start electrical stimulation to build more strength.
• And the biggest milestone: your large wound closed yesterday — a wonderful moment for all of us.

Now we’re planning to go outside more, continue building strength, and look forward to another month full of progress.

Our mum lives with dementia, and we care for her 24 hours a day with all our heart.
Every day we try to make life as normal, warm, and loving as possible. That includes all the everyday things that make life real: going shopping together, helping with showering, doctor or dentist visits, taking walks – simply living daily life side by side.

Movement, structure, and closeness are incredibly important for her. Because movement is life, and every step, every smile, every little conversation matters. We want her to feel safe, cared for, and included in our daily routine.

And even though every day is different, we always do our very best – with patience, love, and a bit of humour. We try to make our time together as beautiful as possible and cherish every single moment we are blessed to share.

In October, our patient received a pacemaker, and we travelled with him by ambulance to Bangkok Hospital Phuket, staying by his side before and after the procedure.

Back on Samui, he was later declared fit to fly, which allowed us to return to Phuket for his follow-up check-ups. This meant a lot to him — he used to be a pilot, and being able to fly again brought him real joy.

We’ve been providing 24-hour care for him for over a year now, and he has truly become part of our family.

For us, it’s so normal to get up, to take care of our daily things, to prepare breakfast, to walk—to the bathroom or wherever we want to go. But for many of my patients, that’s not normal at all. It always touches me deeply when, after a few weeks of rehabilitation, they take their very first steps again. I just want to share this and remind everyone to be grateful—for everything we’re able to do, and for every new day we’re given.

Dementia Holiday Care

Caring for people with dementia is a very special responsibility. Every day brings new and unexpected situations that require flexibility, empathy, and understanding. Our approach is to meet the patient exactly where they are – helping them to find orientation and comfort in their daily life.

We structure the day in a way that gives security, while lovingly maintaining familiar habits and routines. At the same time, we encourage and support the patient to remain as active and independent as possible.

Our care includes preparing meals, keeping the home tidy, doing the laundry, shopping, organizing and administering medication, as well as monitoring vital signs and ensuring sufficient fluid intake. All of this is done with great attentiveness, warmth, and patience.

What makes our dementia care unique is the combination of professional expertise and heartfelt dedication. We do not only look after physical needs, but also focus on emotional well-being – bringing stability, dignity, and quality of life to each day.

For two and a half months we had the privilege of accompanying you on your final journey. During this time, we tried to make every day as beautiful and dignified as possible. We focused on preserving your independence, while surrounding you with warmth and care. There were gentle massages, delicious meals prepared with love each day, and moments of quiet joy as you enjoyed the beautiful view whenever you had the strength. And most importantly, you were never alone – we were by your side until the moment you peacefully closed your eyes. Rest in Peace - beautiful Women 🥰🙏
