Let's say you're loaded with tasks today. You're working but eventually the stress builds up.
The clock is ticking and you begin to worry how you are going to get to the finish line before the day ends. You start feeling overwhelmed.
This hits your focus directly. You're now more worried than focused.
🛑 In this moment, you must S.T.O.P.
📌 Stop and pause your thoughts and actions for a few seconds.
📌 Take a few deep breaths to bring yourself in the moment. Slowly breathe out the stress and overwhelm.
📌 Observe what you are feeling. What emotions are you experiencing? What's going on in your mind? Give yourself the clarity you need. This is the moment to defuse the stress.
📌 Proceed with the possibilities now. For example, you can prioritize your tasks, readjust the deadlines, or delegate some tasks.
This way, you can take care of your tasks as well as your mental wellbeing.
This can also help when you're giving an important presentation or are in an interview or exam.
