I’ve been guiding this work for over a decade now, and so many of you have walked this passage with me through the years. This edition feels especially alive — with the online program in collaboration with Advaya, and the two in-person retreats in my atelier and by my favourite lake.

Honestly, feeling very grateful and excited to end and start this year in this way. Again and again. Gives me a lot of grounding, direction and resilience. Also very grateful to do this with you and with the local… invisible forces, and some extra fairy dust (summoning the regional ones!!)

On Tuesday, October 7, we invite you to a conversation on Zoom with Rita Huni Kuin, Jaci Meinhold from NGO Living Gaia, and cultural researcher Alisa Reimer.

Together we will explore what Indigenous feminism means on the ground in the forest and during their travels abroad (and beyond Eurocentric ideas of the term).

We will also delve into topics like the meaning of community for Indigenous people, everyday life in the forest, medicine, art and storytelling as ancestral forms of resistance, and more.

Let’s listen deeply, exchange, and sit with living knowledge that is both deeply rooted and urgently relevant.
This class is part of the current INVISIBLE WORLDS: GUARDIANS study program, but is open to anyone who would like to meet and study with Rita, Jaci, and Alisa.

Giving center stage to the voices that deserve our full attention, we are opening a space for genuine connection across cultures through a one-month Online Study Program with the indigenous Huni Kuin women from the Brazilian Amazon and they’re partnering NGO .gaia 🌿

I am deeply anticipating the opportunity to facilitate this shared exploration and create bridges between worlds and cosmologies.

As guardians of ancestral knowledge and the rainforest, the Huni Kuin women share profound wisdom about healing, community, and ecological balance. Their voices offer rare insight into ways of living rooted in reciprocity and respect for the natural world.

Feeling the heart of the Amazonian rainforest beating in my chest, thanks to the women who came to visit, create, share and nurture our friendship. Still so much to unpack for me and, from what I know, for those who joined the encounters as well.

More than grateful that we have the study program ahead of us, starting September 17th, so we can continue to unlearn, unpack, reciprocate and rewild together.

Deepest gratitude to Bunke, Rita & Bismaní Huni Kuin, to NGO .gaia , to my team and to everyone joining this movement of building bridges between worlds.

The three Huni Kuin women have just arrived and I would like to introduce you to Bunke, Rita and Bismani! Their journey to Europe is dedicated to sharing their culture and advocating for the protection of the Amazonian forest. Each woman brings a unique light and teaching that has been passed down through generations.

I am hosting the Huni Kuin women and team members of their partnering NGO Living Gaia e.V. for the next few days.

Our weekend seminars are fully booked. But we have a full Online Study Program coming up in September. I am not sure if such an opportunity to study from wherever in the world with Huni Kuin Woman, an NGO (and myself included) already exists in the digital space, and I am deeply excited for this! Filming lectures, practices and interviews these days as well.
