معاناة الأطفال في العراق: ضحايا الحرب والنزوح

يعاني أطفال العراق معاناةً لا تُوصف نتيجة عقود من الحرب والصراع. منذ حرب الخليج في تسعينيات القرن الماضي، وما تلاها من غزو عام 2003 وصعود جماعات متطرفة مثل داعش، شهد العراق حالةً من عدم الاستقرار المتواصل. وقد خلّفت هذه الحروب ندوبًا عميقة في نفوس أصغر أفراد المجتمع.

تأثر ملايين الأطفال العراقيين بشكل مباشر بالعنف، حيث شهد الكثيرون منهم أو تعرضوا للتفجيرات وإطلاق النار وتدمير منازلهم. وقد أدى التهديد المستمر بالعنف إلى تعطيل تعليمهم، حيث غالبًا ما تُدمر المدارس أو تُستخدم كملاجئ. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أُجبر العديد من الأطفال على الفرار من ديارهم، ليصبحوا لاجئين أو نازحين داخليًا، يعيشون في مخيمات مكتظة مع محدودية الوصول إلى الضروريات الأساسية كالغذاء والمياه النظيفة والرعاية الصحية.

كما أن العبء النفسي على الأطفال شديد. فقد الكثيرون منهم أفرادًا من عائلاتهم، ويعاني عدد لا يُحصى غيرهم من الصدمات والقلق والاكتئاب بسبب العنف الذي شهدوه. إن مستقبل جيل بأكمله في خطر، إذ عرقل الصراع قدرتهم على النمو والتعلم والعيش في بيئة آمنة.

The Suffering of Children in Iraq: Victims of War and Displacement

The children of Iraq have been enduring unimaginable suffering due to decades of war and conflict. Since the Gulf War in the 1990s, followed by the 2003 invasion and the rise of extremist groups like ISIS, Iraq has experienced prolonged instability. These wars have left deep scars on the youngest members of society.
