The Continuum Process

The Continuum Process Life Audit to Life Edit, the TCP Way. Thanks for being here, Alice.

TCP is a personal and professional development system so you can Grow, Differently. 14 years in the making, it is designed to help you turn inward for the answers you seek.

Inspiration isn’t something you have to earn. It’s not something reserved for the “seemingly” successful.

Your life is already inspiring. You, are already inspiring.

It lives in how you move through change.
In the standards you’ve set for yourself.
In your decisions.
In the way you embrace uncertainty.
In how you keep going, keep showing up and continue to evolve.
In everything you have overcome.
In your daily challenges and moments of joy.

I spend a lot of time sitting with people inside the real details of their lives.

And there is far more depth, courage and integrity there than they tend to recognise. Initially anyway.

You don’t need a different life to feel proud of yourself.

Turn to the one you’re already living. Shape it deliberately.
Let it be something you can admire. Inspire yourself.

Cheering for us all ♥️

Readiness for change doesn’t always feel like excitement.

Sometimes it feels like irritation, restlessness, or self-sabotage.

How often do we turn judgement on ourselves for this? When what if it’s change asking for space?

Be gentle with yourself here.

Try to name what’s shifting, and let that be enough. That might sound like:
- I’m outgrowing my job
- I don’t find enjoyment in my relationships anymore
- I’m bored
- I’m lonely
- I’m too busy
- I don’t want anymore

Sometimes the next step appears.

This is such a great reframe, save this post if you’re susceptible to judgement when resistance shows up in your life. You’re good, you’re human - you’re going to be ok.

Part 3 of 3: Recalibration

Or, rubber hitting the road.

I have learnt that when you seek expansion, and get it, calibrating into a new normal is very, very bumpy. I have made some huge, huge decisions these last 7 years. It’s been a lot.

I believe I’ve recovered from them now but wowsers - aliveness has been here on all new levels and not in a dreamy, idealistic way. But in a boots on the ground, this is real life, kind of way.

And it’s been the greatest set of experiences ever.
As though I needed the lessons.

I set out for love. For expansion. To face my fears. To not hold myself back. To believe in my path and to trust it. To meet people heart to heart rather than head to head. To embrace the multidimensionality of me, and life.

And I’ve done that. I continue to do that.

It’s been utterly worth it, too.

Grow, Differently is nothing about anyone else. It’s about how we can change and evolve along our own path with intention. I hope this series has helped you think about that in your own life and how this has played out for you.

I’m cheering for us all ♥️

Part 2: learning to love.

The 35 year old gap year.

Ah, the expansion. The joy. The lightness.

The love.

People may think this chapter was about meeting Ingo and undeniably, that was so huge and so wonderful. But for me it was the love I found for myself that changed everything. And being able to share that unfurling from within with Ingo that made it all so meaningful.

It felt destined, and my soul was dancing with life in all new ways. Yes I was worrying about my future, finances and if this had been a ‘right decision’ - but mostly, I was just basking in the wonders of life.

I would relive this chapter a thousand times over.

In your story, which chapter feels that way to you?

Our lives iterate along a Continuum, sometimes forwards, sometimes backwards and other times not moving at all.

The versions of ourselves, the changes, the challenges, the joys, the people, places and problems we outgrow all make room for what else can come in.

We all know this because we each live it in our own unique human experiences. And there is something so beautiful about honouring the process of living our lives, with reflection and storytelling.

Part 1 of this story is the chapter of me pushing hard to prove myself to myself. I’m proud of all my versions but this one - I was really struggling and masking it - so maybe it’s my proudest.

Kicking off February with an Instagram name change 💃 feels kind of huge actually!

It’s been quite the journey working out what this page is about, who it’s for and what to include here. I swear I’ve change my bio more times than I’d ever care to admit - lessons in identity in 150 characters 😬

But one thing hasn’t changed and that is my belief that we have the power to turn inward and iterate ourselves along the Continuum of our own lives. Through seasons and chapters, with Quiet Transitions (inner change) between them. That when things are going right or wrong or not at all, as is normal for everyone, we can choose who we want to be and how we lead ourselves.

I also believe this is more important now than ever.

I have created a self-awareness system to do that - The Continuum Process - and that is only one part of what I share here. So it made sense to make this page more personal in its breadth, and perhaps easier to remember.

Thank you so so so much for being here. I have a small but engaged and delightful audience and I treasure you enormously 🥰

More in the post.

Onwards we go, everyone!

This is me pulling back the curtain on how I landed at the concept of a Posture.

It’s a little long, but when I try to do something super short and snappy for the algo, I get stressed and end up loosing all the soul of the message 🤪 so here we are!

But in all seriousness, I’ve been talking to people all month about Postures and I’ve enjoyed it so much.

This is how I got there, what mine is, with a sneeze 🤧 included too. And, if you have any questions just shoot me a message! Happy to help!

As someone who loves a bit of self-reflection, and who has thoroughly enjoyed the #2016 trend, I was reluctant to do my own!

Until I realised the enormity of 2016…. Wowsers. And then I wanted it captured here.

I can see that my life today is a direct result of the seeds that were so vulnerably planted (or revealed?) back then.

My shoulder surgery and the prep that I did for it in the shadows of normal life, the Big Life Question I had the courage to ask, and the resistance I gave into (for a while) because I was scared of the answer.

All so normal, all so human.

2016 was my ultimate Quiet Transition.
2017-2018 was my ultimate Loud Transition.
2026 Alice thanks herself for it all.

Highly recommend doing this if you haven’t already.

What happened to you on 2016?

I’d love to know if you’ve connected any dots ✨🦋💃

Nuance and adaptability for how we lead ourselves and move through our lives at different chapters, is more important now than ever. Nothing is set and forget.

The conversations I’ve been having around your Postures for the year have been so wonderful, I’m grateful this framing is landing.

Remember, it can’t just be a posture in theory, or words written down and forgotten.

Here are a few examples for you so you can work with your Posture in daily life. Moments when we wobble, and when we are empowered too - because, well, we get everything in life 🤪

If your Posture has served you so far, do share it below :)
