The Continuum Process Life Audit to Life Edit, the TCP Way. Thanks for being here, Alice.

Meaningful change begins with awareness.

Who you are.
Where you are.
What you want and need in this chapter.

Self-awareness is not indulgent. It is the foundation of self-leadership in a world that keeps shifting.

😮‍💨

Anything we want to grow, sustainably, starts with awareness.

March is here, let’s meet ourselves where we are. Let’s meet our greatness and our innate power right where we are.

My biggest challenge is holding ambition and patience at the same time.

When you’ve been competent for a long time, starting again is damn uncomfortable (while very invigorating 😉).

You’re used to knowing what you’re doing.
You’re used to fluency.
You’re used to traction, visible progress, seeing the path.
You’ve experienced prolonged success.

Then suddenly you’re the beginner again.

The gap between your internal standard and your current reality is really wide. The impatience to close that gap needs a lot of mindset management. Because the voice that says I should be further along by now gets very loud.

Gratitude for what is helps. For all I have. And remembering what a privilege it is to do what I’m doing. There is a past version of me who’s marvelling and giddy with pride.

Most of what actually changes our life is invisible while it’s happening. Isn’t that interesting?

What’s made you feel like a beginner again? Where do you hold this tension of button and patience? I’d love to know.

Onwards ♥️

Ps does anyone else go into deep thought while on trains, planes and buses? 😆

This is the exact protocol I use when I’m going through change and feeling IN IT. It’s what I advise team members, clients and loved ones when they are IN IT.

Change has always affected me quite dramatically, perhaps for you too. The washing-machine feeling is a lot on top of normal life. The discombobulation makes it seem like something is wrong (it’s not), and the fatigue is alarming.

But.

Don’t let this stop you. Keep going.

You will not overcome your fears without change.
You will not build the life you want without change.
You will not embody who you always were without change.

I want to empower you to lean into it.

🤝 Arm yourself with this two week protocol if you’re initiating change.
🤝 Save this post as a resource for when change happens to you.

The world needs adaptable, ambitious, aligned self-leaders.

The world needs all of us in motion.

Cheering for us,
Alice

The Water, Forest & Meadow Trail (Wasser, Wald & Wiesen Premiumweg), Calw – Northern Black Forest is a trail to add to your list.

We walked this Premium Trail loop starting and finishing in Calw, Baden-Württemberg and loved it!

Here are the details:

Distance: 14.2 km
Time: 4–5 hours (we took closer to 5 with stops)
Difficulty: Moderate
Elevation gain: approx. 350 m
Trail type: Loop
Best for: Varied terrain, forest immersion, quiet sections, traditional Black Forest villages

This trail weaves together three different landscapes:
🌳 Dense forest
🪵 The Nagold River “Water” section
🌾 Open meadow with wide views

Highlights:
✔️ Beautifully marked Premiumweg trail
✔️ Rock formations and a steeper climb around the one-third mark
✔️ The historic Calw “Schafott” site
✔️ Traditional Black Forest touches in Lützenhardt
✔️ An unexpected wild pig enclosure

Good to know before you go:
👉🏻 Bring your own food and water. No cafés directly on the trail.
👉🏻 Hiking poles were helpful on steeper sections.
👉🏻 Trail runners with good grip were fine in February, but expect mud.
👉🏻 Well marked, but we used Komoot as backup.
👉🏻 Likely best in late spring or autumn for drier ground and clearer meadow views.
👉🏻 Allow some time to explore the village of Calw.

Getting there:
Calw is easily accessible by train from Stuttgart, especially with the launch of the new Hermann-Hesse Bahn. The trail begins in town and is walkable from the station. Parking is also available in central Calw.

If you’re looking for a longer Black Forest hike near Stuttgart with varied terrain and solid elevation, this one absolutely delivers! 💃

Save for later and follow for more Trail Notes from Baden-Württemberg and beyond.

I’ve led teams through restructures and reinvention, and I’ve rebuilt my own life chapters too. Repeatedly.

The most compassionate and helpful unlock is knowing what kind of change you’re actually in.

And if you’re supporting someone else through change, this matters even more. Because the way you lead, help, or walk alongside someone has to match the kind of change they’re in, not just what you think they “should” do next.

Most people get stuck because they treat every change like one thing. But change comes in different forms, and each one asks something different of you:

🍭 Chosen change (you initiate it)
🍭 Forced change (life initiates it)
🍭 Quiet change (nothing looks different, but everything is shifting internally)

When you misread the type of change you’re in, you end up pushing when you need to pause…

Or pausing when you need to move.

Understanding your own tendencies and respecting your personality through change is also very important.

Which type of change are you in now?

The face of someone who loves surprises from her husband 💃 he’s so good at them too!

We are not big Valentine’s Day people, but it was Saturday night and we’ve been so routined with our exercise and eating well. So honestly, it was just nice to go out and eat a pizza together. A little pre-movie drink at our fave local bar and sitting watching Hamnet, made it all a pretty perfect evening.

As we went to sleep, we agreed that there isn’t much more we could ask for we than being together, safe and warm.

Happy Love Day everyone ♥️ please hug yourselves tightly at every chance you get.

You’re worth it.

Inspiration isn’t something you have to earn. It’s not something reserved for the “seemingly” successful.

Your life is already inspiring. You, are already inspiring.

It lives in how you move through change.
In the standards you’ve set for yourself.
In your decisions.
In the way you embrace uncertainty.
In how you keep going, keep showing up and continue to evolve.
In everything you have overcome.
In your daily challenges and moments of joy.

I spend a lot of time sitting with people inside the real details of their lives.

And there is far more depth, courage and integrity there than they tend to recognise. Initially anyway.

You don’t need a different life to feel proud of yourself.

Turn to the one you’re already living. Shape it deliberately.
Let it be something you can admire. Inspire yourself.

Cheering for us all ♥️
