JOSERA is a pioneer for sustainable nutrition of livestock. As such we have been a strong partner in the agricultural field for over 75 years. Founded in 1941 JOSERA sets standards in quality and innovation. Since 1956 we have been certified by the DLG (German Agricultural Society). Our company is a pinoneer in the use of B-vitamins for metabolic stability and the promotion of fertility of cattle. JOSERA also introduced the calf first milk replacer without the use of skimmed milk powder to the market. Due to the associated risk of development of anti-biotic resistance in pathogrenic bacteria, JOSERA renaunced the use of antibiotics in feedstuffs since 1994 and the EU subsequently banned the use of Antibiotics as growth promotants in 2006. As a reliable partner in the agricultural field JOSERA relies on transparency and quality. An in-house accredited laboratory oversees the quality of our products, which we declare voluntarily and completely, as the only company since 2000. JOSERA takes responsibility for the environment and has ambitious climate goals. A private railroad connection helps keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. In one year we save more than 5,000 truck journeys. Our products are stored in one of the biggest German high bay warehouses, made from regional wood. The warehouse connects innovation with climate protection – because in contrast with a conventional steel construction the wooden structure saves approx. 2.100 tons of CO2.

Everyone is Podcasting about low-calcium rations – but how can I reduce calcium correctly without reducing too much? It is not only important to reduce calcium, but also to consider the ratio to phosphorus. This should be 1.1 to 1.3 to 1 in the calcium-phosphorus ratio.
That's why it's worth analysing the basic ration and adjusting it to the phosphorus content as well as the calcium content. This allows you to optimally prevent milk fever.
