Just a reminder that the handstand class will resume, meeting every week Thursdays at Crossfit FFM, Hirtenstraße 7-5, 60327 Frankfurt am Main. It is also likely that we will soon be able to train in Crossfit on Tuesday evenings as well... I'll let you know.

Here's a great exercise to work on loading the hands with weight and stacking the hips over the shoulders. I go over some of the most important alignment principles for the straight handstand:
a) Scapular Elevation
b) Scapular Protraction
c) Posterior Pelvic Tilt

Based mostly on elements from pilates, we'll also throw in some yoga stretches for flexibilty and some extra-tough calisthenics exercises for that bonus effect. As always, be sure to listen to your own body, modify and skip exercises as needed, and only do as much as is appropriate for you where you are today.
