𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼 🇨🇭

Starting tomorrow, the Swiss Plastics Expo opens its doors in Lucerne. The eighth edition will take place from January 20 to 22, 2026, and as one of around 200 exhibitors we will be presenting our temperature control systems for digital monitoring of flow and temperature.

You will find us at booth B 1039 in hall 1, together with the Swiss sales representative of our partner , Ingenieurbureau Dr. Brehm AG.

We will be showcasing an orcinus orca temperature control for applications up to 180 °C (356 °F) in combination with a temperature control unit from . This system solution illustrates how digital monitoring of flow and temperature contributes to greater process stability and transparency in temperature control.

🛠 installation on a 2000-ton injection molding machine in France completed 🇫🇷

Last week, we successfully completed another . Focus was on the cold water piping of a 2000-ton injection molding machine. Due to the high requirements, large connection sizes of 1 1/4 inch and 1 inch were used.

Four temperature control circuits on each side of the mold (moving platen and fixed platen) were equipped with our dual ultrasonic sensors. These ensure precise flow measurements and reliable temperature detection for maximum transparency across all relevant process parameters.

We have completed the piping up to the mono couplings, and the customer will install the remaining connections to the mold.

𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗱

At plastic concept, our orca temperature control is installed directly in the machine bed. We monitor each temperature control circuit individually and rely on the principle of parallel distribution, which ensures stable process conditions and optimized cooling performance.

Thanks to the contactless dual ultrasonic sensors, the flow rate for each circuit is measured digitally and in real time. This enables full transparency, consistent part quality, and reliable production cycles.

🛠 installation of an orcinus orca plus system in Hungary 🇭🇺

We successfully installed an orca plus temperature control at a global market leader in plastic closures for the food, beverage, and chemical industry. The orcinus orca version offers the operator complete flexibility in controlling the individual circuits.

The includes 16 temperature control circuits and was implemented as a special solution with 3/4-inch hoses connected to the mold. Each circuit is equipped with a control valve in the supply line, allowing the user to choose between flow control and delta-T control.

The operator simply selects the desired flow rate or delta-T on the display. The then automatically adjusts the valve opening so the selected value is reached reliably.

This results in a significant increase in process control: deviations are detected earlier, the molding process becomes more stable, and production becomes more consistent and efficient.
