"Screen Saver" – What's Good About Screen Time, and What Should You Watch Out For?

A fun and engaging card game designed to teach kids about the pros and cons of screen use!

Contents:

56 cards
Instruction sheet
How much time do you spend in front of a screen each day?
What are the positive aspects of screen time, and what dangers does it pose? This new game tackles these questions in an enjoyable and interactive way.

The game is similar to classic card games like "Go Fish," but with a twist! The goal is to collect points while avoiding "Screen Danger" cards that deduct points and aiming for "Off-Screen" cards that add points.

Why it’s perfect for everyone:

No reading required: The cards feature only images, making it suitable for younger siblings who haven’t learned to read yet.
Flexible gameplay: Decide how to play – focus on winning the game or use the cards to spark meaningful discussions with family members.
Key Benefits:

Encourages mindful and responsible screen use.
Helps limit screen time and promotes balanced screen habits.
Raises awareness about the potential dangers of excessive screen use.
Supports a healthy balance between screen activities and real-world interactions.
This game is a great way for adults to guide kids in understanding the importance of balanced screen time, setting limits, and choosing age-appropriate content.

Give and Get Games Social and emotional skills games for children

Give and Get Games is an entrepreneurial company based in Israel that develops educational board games for children. Established in 2011 by Michal Laufer-Ram, Give and Get Games specializes in games that foster communication and nurture emotional intelligence. Our games are fun, educational and teach children important lessons in the development of social skills, self-expression, positive thinking, validating emotions and teamwork.

Suitable for children at aged 3-12, our games create perfect opportunities for the young to play and learn from those they love - their parents, therapists, teachers, counselors, coaches, psychologists, grandparents, or even with their friends. We are proud to partner with other game companies and games developers and distribute over 70 educational games in over 400 brick-and-mortar stores, including some of the largest book and toy chains in the country, as well as via our online store. We are a leader in the educational and emotional games market. We attribute our success to our ability to harness knowledge about the need for emotional-skills development among children growing up in a screen-filled society. As such, we’ve taken the new and emerging social skills board games category within the global board games market by storm. We know that children are spending more and more time in front of screens and less and less time practicing important social skills. We aim to resolve this soft skills decline, with the help from carefully crafted social and emotional intelligence games and hope to see this category of children’s activities boom within the board game industry.

We dream of making the world a better, more conscientious and emotionally welcoming place, by giving and exposing children to games that teach positive and empowering content. We seek to enable children, parents and therapists to teach vital emotional skills, using wonderfully fun and engaging tools. Our games encourage the start of significant dialogues, during which children can learn about emotional expression and strengthen their bonds with parents, siblings and friends.

In 2018, we look to expand our educational game company internationally. We are currently in the market for partners who can help us scale and supply emotional intelligence games to children across the globe.
