It's time again for some apple oat balls. 😋 A quick recipe to sweeten the coffee break with a healthy snack.

Ingredients: apple, oats, nuts, dates, carrot juice, little bit of salt and sugarcane syrup, cinnamon, tumeric and ginger. Blend it all and form little balls, then bake them for just 15 min on 170 degrees celcius in the oven.

Autumn time is beetroot time ☺️

Beetroot is a great source of fiber, iron and vitamins, especially vitamin B9 and C.

On top, its deep pink color is just a super eye-catcher for any plate.

My short recipe for beet root hummus:
Chickpeas, beet root, olive oil, tahin, garlic, cumin powder, a bit of sugarcane syrup, lemon juice, warm water - all mixed to a creamy hummus.

Perfect for a dip to grilled vegetables or on the bread :)

The small flowers are quite bitter in taste, however as topping on a dish it gives a good balance and serves as a nice eye-catcher.💛

Today I discovered another powerful wildplant just outside my campervan door in the beautiful . 🌲

Mugwort - dt.: Beifuß 🌱

It has been used in medicine around the world for many years, due to its diverse benefits.

Especially helpful during menstruation, and for digestive problems like constipation.

The closed flower blossoms and the leaves are slightly bitter in taste. Used pure, as tea or as a complement for porridge, salad or basically any dish. ☺️

When I notice that I'm lost in negative thinking, I ask myself: how can I bring depth into this moment?

This question has been a gamechanger for me.

What does it mean?

It's a conscious shift from thinking into sensing.

One way to do it: Wherever you are, find any object or plant or the sky and look at it. Go deep into it.

When you do that, you might experience different changes in your perception.

In my case, I often start to realize the beauty around. Or I start being aware of my body again. Feeling grateful to experience all that with all my senses. And realizing, that actually what I have been thinking doesn't really matter at all.

Sometimes the wants to do things, achieve something, making use of the day, but the is asking for a break.

It's important to also see value in those days of illness. They are an opportunity to support your body to heal, to become stronger, and also train the mind to make peace with the present moment, no matter if pleasant or unpleasant.

What's good for me right now is
drinking a hot ginger lemon on the balcony while the last sunrays are flickering through the clouds after the heavy rain. 🙏
