Y’all, watching Georgia boot out the incumbents was a beautiful thing. Yeah, we noticed they were in bed with Georgia Power and jacking up our power bills. It turns out that people hate that kind of corruption. We showed up and voted for a change. It felt really good.
To be clear, I’m all for this new wave of progressive Democrats. I’d love to see the rise of a more progressive party, but in the meantime, it’s nice to see centrist politics pushed out in favor of meaningful change.
