JOIN US IN-PERSON TOMORROW AT PHENDELING!

We’ll be celebrating Lhadab Duchen, one of the four great holy days of the Buddhist calendar. Starting at 17.30 we will do Tara Practice and recite The Sutra Remembering the Three Jewels together. At 19.00-20.30 we will do a mindfulness practice and explore and meditate on Honesty (from the 16 Guidelines program). In between we’ll enjoy a nice chat and coffee, tea and snacks together.

Hope to see you there – you can join both sessions or just one them as you like. If you know you’re coming, please register via the link below. Otherwise, it’s also OK if you just show up. Phendelings adress is Klareboderne 10, 1115 København. Both sessions will also be offered online from Phendeling.

Lhabab Duchen on November 11 celebrates Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s return to Earth from the God Realm of the Thirty-Three after teaching Dharma for three months to the gods, including his mother, Mayadevi, who had died a week after Buddha’s birth and been reborn there. As a merit multiplying day, the karmic results of actions done on this day are multiplied 100 million times.

Thanks to all who participated in the 16 Guidelines session on Humility last Tuesday! As promised to participants we're sharing the ending reflection and deditation of the session:

"Let’s take a moment to try to think of ways we could bring humility into daily life throughout the coming week.

Next time we will meditate on patience. We can dedicate the positive energy and increased understanding from this session with the following refl ection: May the quality of humility grow in our hearts, may we walk through life with curiosity, kindness, and the wisdom to learn from all beings and experiences."

Looking forward to the coming 16 Guidelines session on Patience on Tuesday 16th September:
