December is often portrayed as a month filled with joy, Christmas spirit, and coziness. Yet for many, this time of year also brings up more complex feelings — loneliness, pressure, expectations, stress, and emotional overwhelm. These experiences are real, but rarely spoken about.

Tomorrow, I am hosting a workshop to explore some of those complex feelings that arrive while waiting for Christmas. Together, we’ll prepare to meet Christmas with more self-acceptance, compassion, and inner peace.

Join us for an insightful workshop where we will:
Explore the mixed emotions that arise during the holiday season
Engage in meaningful discussions in a supportive, judgment-free space
Practise how to hold space for ourselves with compassion

Asking for Help: Why It’s So Difficult — and Why It Matters

We all need help sometimes, yet so often we choose to bite our lips and push through instead of reaching out.

We have difficult feelings at times, sadness, confusion, or self-doubt, you name it — but rather than seeking support, we often hide and wait for the feelings to “pass”.

- Why is it so hard for many of us to ask for help?
- And why is it such an important skill to practise?

On Tuesday, 21st at 17:00, I am hosting a workshop to explore those questions.

Join us for an insightful and interactive workshop where we will:
🍁Explore the emotional and psychological reasons behind our struggle to reach out
🍁Engage in meaningful discussions in a supportive, judgment-free space
🍁Learn why asking for help is not weakness, but an act of connection and self-care

This workshop is open to everyone — whether you find it hard to ask for help yourself, or simply wish to understand this human challenge more deeply.

Inferiority Complex: What It Is and How to Cope

A few weeks ago, I hosted a workshop on inferiority complex at DepressionsForeningen. The topic resonated deeply with many participants, so I’m sharing the key takeaways here—maybe they’ll resonate with you too.

👇 First, the basics:
Feeling inferior is something we all experience from time to time. And often, it’s not a bad thing—it can even push us to grow, learn, and evolve.

But when the sense of inadequacy becomes overwhelming—when it freezes us, leads to depression, or stops us from living fully—it may be a sign of an inferiority complex.

🚩 Common signs of an inferiority complex:
- Constant self-criticism
- Avoiding challenges due to fear of failure
- Seeking external approval to feel "enough"
- Overreacting to feedback or criticism
- Social withdrawal
- Perfectionism
- Jealousy or comparison with others

💡 How to cope:
🌟 Focus on yourself – Your story, your path, your strengths.
🚫 Stop comparing to others—it rarely serves you. Compare yourself to your past self.
🎯 Set smaller goals – Small wins help build confidence.
🎉 Be your own cheerleader – Acknowledge your progress.
🤷‍♀️ If you make a mistake, ask: So what?
🌈 If you’re doubting your next step, ask: What’s the best that could happen?
✅ Struggling with perfectionism? Remind yourself: Done is better than perfect.

🤝 You’re not alone.
If feelings of inferiority are strong or persistent, don’t keep it all inside.

Talk to someone you trust—or reach out to a therapist. It’s okay to ask for help ❤️

Hi everyone 💛
I’m a clinical psychotherapist with some new availability in my schedule, and I’m currently welcoming new clients.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy—or returning to it—I’d love to connect.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, loneliness, or life transitions—those seeking more clarity and a deeper sense of self.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in presence. I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen and supported—no pressure to have it all figured out. Sessions are embodied, present-focused, and guided by curiosity.
If you're curious or have questions, feel free to message me.
I offer a free intro call to see if it feels like a good fit.
We all deserve support. You don’t have to do this alone 💛

I will be hosting a workshop on Making Mistakes and Moving On.

Making mistakes is an important part of growing up and learning to live in this world; it is human, and we all do it. Yet, as adults, making mistakes becomes less welcomed. We have higher expectations for ourselves, and there might be some from others too. What happens to us when we make mistakes? Why we tend to dwell on them, even long after they’ve occurred? How do we move on? Let’s explore together the psychology of making mistakes and discover effective strategies for moving on.
