Anyone ever said to you 'That's impossible!!'? 🙋‍♀️

I never would have thought some years ago I would write a book or stand on a stage in front of UN employees talking about my method of Sumati Concept and the Wondervention Effect...!

But impossibility is only an illusion confined by the boundaries of our perception. Impossibility is a challenge awaiting its conqueror; for what was once said to be impossible transforms into the guiding light of possibility through human creativity, determination and resolve.

Amidst the noise of the world and the echoes of others' opinions, remember this: you are the architect of your destiny, the maestro of your symphony! On International Women's Day 2024, I had the privilege of addressing the remarkable employees of Kerry Indonesia, a global leader in food ingredients manufacturing. With branches scattered across Indonesia, boasting two research facilities, a production site, and headquarters, the virtual audience was vast. Speaking to such a diverse group virtually was a first for me, presenting unique challenges in fostering connection. Every time I do something new, or speak to an audience, I feel some discomfort, but I always know how rewarding it feels! The smiles and heart gestures captured at the end of my talk as seen here, not only underscored the impact of the IWD theme of Inspire Inclusion but also highlighted the profound connection we all shared.

🌟 : Recognizing Value in Unexpected Places 🌟

Imagine strolling through the bustling New York subway, surrounded by the rhythmic hum of commuters, when suddenly, the enchanting strains of a violin captivate your senses. In that moment, you witness something extraordinary—an anonymous musician pouring their soul into their craft, yet receiving only fleeting glances and modest tips.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars. Two days before he played in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out a Boston theatre, and the seats averaged about $100.

This experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued. It's a powerful reminder of the hidden brilliance within everyday settings, waiting to be discovered and celebrated.

But here's the twist—when individuals recognize their own value, embrace their talents, and seek environments that honor and elevate them, magic happens! They step into their power, thrive, and inspire others to do the same.

I want to give purpose a new definition by being a living example of thinking BIG and acting BOLDLY! I truly believe that within each of us lies a shadow of our superpowers, waiting for the light of self-discovery to reveal the extraordinary strengths and gifts we possess.

Last August, I had the privilege of joining my sister Nadine McNeil, in Copenhagen to co-facilitate and speak at a two-day corporate retreat for UNFPA (United Nations Populations Fund, Supply Chain Agency). Addressing 147 individuals from 31 field offices worldwide and nearly 50 HQ personnel from UN City, I had the opportunity to share insights into my unique methodologies: The Sumati Concept and The Wondervention Effect.

I firmly advocate that organizations and businesses must play a pivotal role in addressing global challenges. However, this transformation starts from within. By introspecting, we better understand our impact on community dynamics and the environment, enabling us to infuse our work with purpose, regardless of our roles or industries.

True leadership stems from recognizing the nuances of each individual's journey and fostering an environment where growth and fulfillment are attainable. It's heartening to witness leaders taking tangible steps towards change.
