We are nature.

Inner nature reflected in outer nature.
Plants are immobile. Rooted at least.
Humans are not. In a litteral sense.
And we still have a lot in common.

Plants and humans both have ways of..

Connecting.
Protecting.
Relating.
Communicating.
Growing.
Preserving.
Decaying.

Some visible, some invisible.

Some carry their shields on the outside. "Don't come too close", it says, exposing its first sharp line of defense and prefered weapon.

So many plant personalities and life strategies to be found all around us.

Maybe you will meet a reflection of yourself next time you venture outside? If you keep your eyes, mind and heart open to receive the gift of awareness, presence and explorstion.

Naturterapi handler om at være åben for at naturen indeholder lige præcis det du har brug for. Lige her hvor du er i dit liv. Det kan være i form af delelementer og helheder som fanger din opmærksomhed og afstedkommer en fysisk, mental, følelsesmæssig eller spirituel reaktion.

For der er altid en grund til at det er netop dét træ, du tiltrækkes af. Dét blad du samler op. Dén vej du vælger. Og dét terræn du undgår. Dit indre landskab og din indre tilstand spejles i det ydre landskab og hjælpe det svære og tunge på vej. Gør det ubevidste mere bevidst. Og skaber plads til at du kan finde forbindelsen til de dele af dig du ikke mærker så tit. De dele der gemmes af vejen eller dømmes som uønskede og forkerte.

I naturterapien er der tid og plads til alle og til alt. Og til at lade dig bestemme tempo og retning.

Må jeg invitere dig til at droppe forventninger, planer, tidsrammer og formål næste gang du er derude? Gå med åbent hjerte og åbent sind. Sans og nyd nærværet med naturen og dig selv.

Have you loved yourself today?

Do you take time to r e a l l y feel yourself?

Consider these steps.

Self-awareness.
Self-understanding.
Self-acceptance
Self-responsibility.
Self-respect.
Self-trust.
Self-care.
Self-love.

Random order? Top down? Bottom up? No matter what feels right to you, I would invite you to sit with these words for just a few minutes.. meanings and feelings that you associate with them.

What comes up for you when you are asked the following questions?

Have you been aware of yourself today?
Have you taken responsibility for yourself today?
Have you taken care of yourself today?

So these questions.. how did the answers affect you? Did you feel comfortable, assured, certain, proud?

What about HAVE YOU LOVED YOURSELF TODAY?
Feeling triggered?

To make this simple.. Will you consider that any reaction involving defensiveness, dismissiveness, ridicule, deflection, sadness, shame or anger probably mean that you need more love in your life? Towards yourself.

Would you be willing to love all parts of yourself? To embrace and welcome all of you without judgement?

Does it feel challenging? Then start somewhere else on the list. Can you become aware of a part of you that is difficult to love and embrace? How do you talk about, feel about and think about that part? Can you understand it? Can you allow it space and accept that it is there for a reason? Can you take care of and care for that part? Just 5 minutes of being with it. With y o u.

Are you ready to start loving the whole of you?

What would your answer be?
"Sure I do" might be a typical answer. No need to think too much about that one.
And what if you - and I - choose to do so anyway?

Some new questions arise with that decision:

What is love to you?
How do you show love?

So.. do you make yourself feel..

🖤 Appreciated?
🖤 Embraced?
🖤 Supported?

Are you making yourself a prioritity on a daily basis?

Or do you take yourself for granted? Think you know all about yourself so no need to check in? To compliment, comfort, cheer and just carve out time to be with yourself? To ask questions. To wonder. To listen. To feel. To nourish and take care of you.
To be p r e s e n t with all of you.

Tonight I made an effort to show myself that I am not all words but action as well. To make myself feel loved and important. Important enought to slow down and forget about my to do list. Important enough to spend time cooking a delicious nourishing meal just for me. Light a candle and eat with presence and pleasure.

2 hours ago my automatic told me to fix something quick to eat while standing at the kitchen counter. After all tonight it was "just me". What a destructive phrase "oh, it is just me". Would you treat a dear friend or a beloved like that? "I did not prepare anything.. afterall it is just you!"

What would it feel like instead to say "its all me and all for me". Tonight I did and what a difference it made!

Who am I?

One of the biggest questions we can ask ourselves. With the simplest answer. "I am me". So why does this question often come with the potential to numb you out or make your head explode? Because the real question in your head and heart might turn out to be... Who do I need to be?

To be accepted?
To be seen and heard?
To be loved?
To be safe?
To be enough?

It is confusing, right? The loss of connection to ourselves begins right here. When we start to listen more to others than ourselves. To tune more into the needs and wants of others than those of ourselves. When we second-guess, overrule and shame our truths.. Needs. Feelings. Sensations. Desires.

Yet so many of us continue to struggle to define ourselves. As if defining a fixed set of traits and functions is a mark of adulthood. Why? Maybe to find our place? To fit in? To fight off the uncertainty and discomfort of not knowing? Ourselves and others. So we turn to labels, titles and boxes to make everything feel safe and predictable. To escape the fear of rejection and the pain of abandonment. I am a Mother. An Introvert. A Dog person. A Gardener An Agnostic. A Liverpool Fan. I AM NOT ALONE..

Maybe the questioning of self is more powerful than any answer that might come up? Mayby freedom awaits in the openess, curiosity and courage of exploring self without the restrains of labels and boxes?

Consider this..
