This is how we celebrate Christmas internationally at the MEYRA GROUP! ✨
From Poland to Norway, from Denmark to Czech Republic! Everywhere has its own special traditions:
• In Poland, pierogi, red borscht soup, and sharing Christmas wafers play a center role.
• In Norway, risengrynsgrøt (cold rice pudding) is eaten on December 23 before pinnekjøtt (lamb ribs) is served on Christmas Eve.
• In Denmark, the dessert is “ris à la mande” with a hidden almond and people dance around the Christmas tree while singing Christmas songs and hymns.
• In Czechia, Ježíšek (Christ Child) brings gifts and carp with potato salad and svařák (mulled wine) are part of the traditional Christmas dinner.
• In Germany, we enjoy mulled wine at the Christmas market, gingerbread, stollen while we waiting for Santa Claus.
Christmas is unique everywhere. The joy and warmth of this special time connect us all.
