AWE. And no excuses.

1,5 years ago I felt a deep, visceral pull to sit in the presence of an embodied teacher. Shortly after, I found myself in AWE after my first asana sadhana with you Ji, during the 200h YTT in Italy.

Something fundamental shifted within. It anchored me deeper into Y O G A. It reaffirmed my relationship to Dharma, to truth, to the yogic path, and to cultivating inner richness through practice as an offering.

Step by step, the path keeps unfolding. And here I am, 500h .and.all.is.coming graduate, allowing new layers of knowledge to land and integrate.

It matters deeply to walk with a teacher who keeps you aligned with truth. In this relatively short time of practicing with you, what has touched me most is your clarity. The way you transmit embodied wisdom so precisely, while remaining deeply humble and human. And I love you for reminding us the baseline: NO EXCUSES when it comes to living the yamas & niyamas.

To me, you are a guru in the way you see the light in everyone, and how you meet darkness with love, kindness, and presence.

Thank you for walking ahead and illuminating the path for all.

Yoga is discernment, not escape.
It’s about recognizing clearly:
what in your life you can change, taking action,
and what you cannot, learning to soften, accept, and endure with presence.

I keep asking myself these days:

What am I enduring that could be eased?
What am I resisting that needs recognition and acceptance?

Ganesha Mudra (as practiced on this photo) reminds me to open my chest, release what blocks me, and meet life with both strength and steadiness.

You might have a library full of books, yet lack the attention, willpower, or desire to study. You might have a loving heart, yet lack the willpower to express it or share it with others. You might have life energy and lived wisdom, yet be unwilling, or not yet ready, to offer them.

You might have it all…and yet, unless you engage with it, it remains dormant.

Question to contemplate: Where do I have something, but not yet the attention or will to live it?

May the coming year be one of quiet awareness, attention, and the courage to bring your gifts fully into life.

Søndag yoga i

Kom og vær med til yoga midt i samtidskunsten.

Søndag d. 25. januar, 1. marts, 29. marts, 26. april og 31. maj åbner vi dørene til en styrkende og rolig morgenstund med en kombination af hatha yoga og afslappende yoga nidra i udstillingen.

Vi starter morgenen med 55 minutters styrkende hatha yoga med fokus på stabilitet, fleksibilitet og åndedrætsbevidsthed. Vi slutter af med 20 minutters guided meditation og dyb afslapning.

Tidsrum for yoga: 9.00 - 10.15.

Vælg mellem følgende billetter:
‘Yoga’ - 150 kr. + gebyr
‘Yoga x BMO’ - 230 kr. + gebyr. Vi serverer brød med smør og ost samt kaffe/the i kunsthallens café.

Eventbilletter:
5 x ‘Yoga’ - 700 kr. (spar 50 kr.)
5 x ‘Yoga x BMO’ - 1000 kr. (spar 150 kr.)

Billetten gælder for yoga følgende søndage: 25.januar, 1. marts, 29. marts, 26. april samt 31. maj 2026.

Praktisk information:
Undervisningen foregår på engelsk.
Alle kan være med – både nybegyndere og øvede.
Husk yogamåtte og tæppe.

Hatha Yoga is a disciplined system of practice that harmonizes body, breath, and mind through asana, pranayama, and energetic purification. It serves as the bridge between physical vitality and inner clarity, preparing the practitioner for deeper meditation and self-realization.

Course details:
Wednesday 19-20.15

20 classes: January 7 – June 24 (skipping weeks 7 & 14–17)

Full course price: 20 sessions for 2,500 kr

Pay before the end of the year to avoid VAT; from 2026, 25% VAT applies if you are over 30.
