Death Announcement

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend; Mrs. Virginia Editha Louis Pierre, affectionately known as “Tofa” or “Ma lio” of St Joseph. She departed this life at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital at the age of 85.

Sunrise: 16th/April/1940
Sunset: 22nd/November/2025

She is survived by:
• Nine Children: Milton, Nathaniel, Nelister, Emmanuel, Vernel, Andrew “Sico” Joel “Deceased”, Jonel, Laurel “Bessy” Pierre.

•Grandchildren: Jabez, Fillander, Shekira, Kerr, Jarib, Zael, Annu, Afra, Jahiem, De- Shawn, Nehemiah, Abba, Valina and Kirk.

•Great grandchildren: Samyrah, J’deesa, Ibrahim, de-Janie, Kyion and kaira.

•Two Adopted children: Maurinthia Nicholas, Irvin Sylvester.

•Two step sons: Arden and Thomas Pierre.

•One Brother: Clem Louis.

The funeral service of the late Mrs. Virginia Editha Louis Pierre, affectionately known as “Tofa” or “Ma lio”, will be held at the seventh day Adventist church in Roseau, On Tuesday 16th December 2025. Viewing at 02:00pm – 02:30pm followed by internment, at the Roseau public cemetery.

People who are interested in attending the funeral of the late Mrs. Virginia Editha Louis Pierre, affectionately known as “Tofa” or “Ma lio”, are ask to gather at the Kelleb John Laurent primary school in St. Joseph. Buses will be leaving at 12:00pm.
