Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities
• Scheduling appointments and visiting existing customers to review product needs and determining other opportunities, providing solutions to customers’ problems & needs
• Liaising between customers, the company, and vendors for up-to-date status of service, pricing new product release launches, lunch and learns etc.
• Opening new accounts
• Delivers on KPI's and sales targets
• Communicate sales activity and pipeline forecasts to the Sales Manager
• To pursue sales leads from suppliers, order desk, or management promptly with written quotes or reports as required for that particular account.
• Attend and participate in all company sales meetings and supplier sales programs as directed by management.
• Gathers and reports on competitor activities that may impact the company and its customers
• Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Post Secondary education in Sales or Marketing is considered an asset
• Experience in an Outside Sales role, preferably within the chemical products, Plastic products, Industrial Plastics and Rubber or Conveyor industries
• Excellent communication skills, presentation, and persuasive skills
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
