OCEANMAN ELGOUNA 2025. With a championship qualification ✨
An event I was looking forward to join for few years.

Many doubts came across my mind before I registered, if it was the right race for my shoulder after the accident? and was I up for it?

But, I have been training..

Swimming was the only sport I could do when my surgeon allowed activity.

It mended me. It still does.

I am truely grateful to God that I was able to train and join this event.

Thankful to my coach who has been patient and keen on helping me recover and return to my sport steadily and firmly.

My family, friends and team for their care & support.

Thank you for an unforgettable event..

🔹It's a concern for all caregivers and medical staff to prevent falls for the Elderly individuals at risk.

🔸One of the tests that are widely used in clinics and outpatient departments is the Full tandem and semi tandem tests.

🔹How long an elderly can maintain this position determines their risk of falling.
Testing time = 30s.

🔹Through adapting the environment, (home and outdoors) to ensure safety, setting an individualised rehabilitation routine and proper use of assistive devices ➡️ falls can be prevented.

who constantly pushed me when I needed, always gave me a boost on unsure days & helped me get out of my comfort zone 🔊

And there is always room to learn more about one's performance, fix nutrition needs ( I faced dehydration symptoms post race 🏜️) & enjoy every step of the journey.. 🚂
