🐄 هل العرج عند أبقار الحلاب دايمًا سببه المفصل؟

التهاب جلد القدم في أبقار الحلاب (Digital Dermatitis)
مرض جلدي معدي يظهر غالبًا في القدم الخلفية، ويؤثر مباشرة على راحة الحيوان وإنتاجيته.
🔬 ليه بيحصل؟
الرطوبة والأرضيات السيئة تضعف الجلد، فتدخل بكتيريا متآزرة أهمها Treponema spp وتسبب التهاب مؤلم.
🩺 الأعراض الإكلينيكية:
• غالبًا تظهر في الشق بين الأصابع، أحيانًا في أماكن أخرى بالقدم
• آفات نشطة: 🔴 حمراء، مؤلمة، تقرحية
• آفات مزمنة: ⚫ رمادية أو سوداء، أقل ألمًا، مع سماكة الجلد
🧼 الوقاية:
✔ أرضيات نظيفة وجافة
✔ أحواض غسيل الأرجل بمطهرات مثل كبريتات النحاس أو الفورمالين
✔ منع دخول الحيوانات المصابة للقطيع
💊 العلاج:
علاج موضعي للآفات النشطة (غالبًا Tetracycline) لتخفيف الألم ودعم الشفاء، مع استمرار الوقاية لمنع الانتكاس.

Digital Dermatitis in Dairy Cows (DD)
is an ulcerative infectious disease of dairy cattle that predominantly affects the plantar digital skin of the hind feet, causing lameness and reduced productivity.
🔬 Pathogenesis:
Skin damage from moisture, irritation, and chemicals allows a synergistic group of bacteria, mainly Treponema spp, to invade, causing inflammation.
🩺 Diagnosis:
• Lesions often in the interdigital cleft, sometimes elsewhere on the foot
• Active lesions: 🔴 red, painful, ulcerative
• Chronic lesions: ⚫ gray-black, thickened, less painful
🧼 Prevention:
✔ Keep floors clean and dry
✔ Use foot baths with copper sulfate or formalin
✔ Prevent infected animals from joining the herd
💊 Treatment:
Topical tetracycline-based antimicrobials for active lesions reduce pain and help healing. Foot baths prevent recurrence of chronic lesions.
