One of the most exciting parts of life for me is discovering the questions that unlock the lessons hidden in every experience — the good, the bad, and the messy.

Here’s one that’s been sitting with me lately, on a deeply personal level.

I hope it brings you a little closer to the clarity you need to get out of your own way and flourish.

With love,

And Still, You Open - 23/6/25

Even after the ache,
the letdowns,
the days you whispered
“I don’t know if I can keep doing this”,
you did.

You kept loving.
You kept hoping.
You kept showing up,
heart first.

This is not weakness.
This is your quiet courage.
The kind that doesn’t need to shout to be heard.
The kind that rises again,
tender and whole,
after being broken.

There is power in softness.
There is wisdom in surrender.
There is grace in letting yourself
be seen,
be held,
be healed.

You are not here to guard your heart,
you are here to live through it.

So rest now,
not because you’ve given up,
but because you believe.
In yourself.
In the path.
In the quiet unfolding
of something deeply true.

And still, you open.
And still, you rise.

- I signed off my last class at THE MIND SPACE. with a poem from my heart to compliment our heart opening vinyasa flow. Thought to leave it here to remember, always 💕

I’m closing this chapter with a heart full of gratitude. 💕

For four years, I poured my entire self into what began as THE MIND GYM, and became THE MIND SPACE.

I witnessed transformation on every level. Meditation went from a plug-in to a daily practice. I saw people rise to their own challenges, soften into their truths, and grow into versions of themselves that were more grounded, more alive, more them.
I watched them find their voices, meet their shadows, and touch the strength in their own vulnerability.
It was never just work. It was a calling.

What began as a passion project became something I lovingly called my baby. From a single offering, to two seasons in Sahel, to our beautiful location in Cairo -I’m still in awe of what SPACE. offers to anyone who walks through its doors.

When I joined, we were three.
Then six.
Now a team of 33+.
A wild, wonderful mix of passion, weirdness, and spark.

The Studio 💕
The studio has held so many of us - as teachers, as students, as humans simply trying to come home to themselves.
And for every lesson, every class, every tear and every laugh shared in that space I’m endlessly grateful.

I will always believe in .space, and I’ll keep rooting for it 💕

As for me, l’m coming home to myself.
And in doing so, I choose to honor that truth, by rooting elsewhere.

I once read:
“When the soul is ready, it gently outgrows what once felt like home.” And here we are.

I can’t wait for what’s to come, the known, and the unknown alike.💕

It’s delicious, and we can’t wait to serve it up soon.

Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do… is nothing at all.

Not reacting is not weakness — it’s wisdom.
It’s an invitation to greater self-awareness & mindfulness.

It’s emotional maturity.

When you pause instead of panicking, reaching, or numbing,
you meet your feelings with presence rather than resistance.

You say: I am safe to feel. I am safe to stay.

That pause?
That’s where you reclaim your power.

Crying often serves as a natural mechanism to release built-up emotional tension and bring the body back to a more balanced state. Here’s how it works:

1. Emotional Release:
Crying, particularly emotional tears, helps discharge pent-up emotions like sadness, frustration, or even joy. This release can help reduce the intensity of those emotions, creating a sense of relief.

2. Activation of the Parasympathetic Nervous System:
After crying, many people experience a calming effect, as crying activates the parasympathetic nervous system. This system is responsible for “rest and digest” functions, helping the body return to a state of relaxation.

3. Deep Breathing:
During and after crying, deep, rhythmic breathing often occurs, which can downregulate the nervous system by engaging the vagus nerve.

When Crying Might Not Regulate:
In some cases, crying can feel overwhelming or dysregulating, especially if it is tied to unresolved trauma or if there’s no safe space for the emotions. In these instances, additional grounding techniques might be needed.

Yoga | Mindfulness | Meditation

Hey there! I’m Noor, a certified 200hr yoga teacher from Namaha Yoga School, and a 50hr meditation teacher by Yoga Union Bali. I could spend hours telling you about all of the things I’m passionate about and this journey of mine that got me here (typing up this introduction for you to read), but instead I’ll tell you this: YOU matter! The practice of yoga is one of discipline and opens. It is a practice of turning inward and really digging deep in order to find space within ourselves for love more, live better, and be more connected. I believe wholeheartedly that the best gifts we can give ourselves are time and love, and yoga truly allows us to fill our cups (the rigorous type AND the gentle type). Through my classes (be it yoga or meditation) I will introduce you to yoga philosophy and my love of all loves: Chakra Yoga. You will learn how to find stillness and presence, but most importantly: you will learn to meet yourself where you are, with non-judgement and full acceptance. Will that happen over night? absolutely NOT! Just like anything else, it takes consistency and commitment.. And that’s what I’m here for. The practice I share with you is one of mindfulness, deeply rooted in the essence of Yoga: the union of mind, body, and soul.

Let’s start this journey together. If you choose to open up to this practice, I promise you it will widen your perspective and help you connect ever so deeply. Love and light, Noor
