🏔️ Puigmal 2913 m — Fast Winter Ascent from 🅿️ Fontalba

The classic route from Fontalba is one of the most dynamic ways to reach Puigmal. A quick elevation gain, open mountain ridges, and crisp winter air right from the start.
At the summit we found full snow coverage, strong wind, and a 360° Pyrenees panorama — the kind of view that makes every step worth it.

Technical Route Data:
• Distance: 13–14 km
• Elevation gain: ~920–1000 m
• Maximum altitude: 2913 m
• Start point: ~2050 m (Fontalba)
• Duration: 4.5 hours
• Difficulty: moderate / winter – moderate-high
• Terrain: mountain trail, open ridge, snow, wind
• Type: linear or loop

Winter Preparation:
You need warm layers, reliable boots, basic fitness, and readiness for snow and wind. I guide groups safely, dynamically, and adapt the pace to each participant.
