the Western belief behind the yang focused approach is that the more you push = the higher your results. this approach can be time efficient + effective achieving short-term physical goals. however too much of good thing can become a not so good thing right?
an imbalance of YANG practices in your training routine cultivates in a high risk of injury, illness, internal stress + burnout.
accompanying this with YIN centred practices which are internal, holistic + exploratory is therefore essential to long-term, healthy results.

If you are caught up in a continuous state of overwhelm, stress, excess of YANG energy, you are not in control. The state that your body is functioning in is not maintainable and will not enable you to reach your desired destination.
The state that your mind is in will not be strong enough to take you there either.
You may feel in control for a period of time — but an excess of YANG will result in having no control. You will be forced to come to a sharp halt in your Journey + you will most likely be too caught up in this intense energy to notice the warning signs.
To really take control, to ensure that you reach your desired destination + achieve all that you wish to — get to know the energetic balance in your body. Get to know which energy you are working in. Get to know whether you are running on excess or lack.
Get to know so that you can get yourself back to balance — bring in the practices that serve this & give yourself the honour of driving + experiencing your Life at your Optimum. 🔆
