Yo! It’s been a minute, huh?

✏️Lemme share a little doodle yoga to show some love to your upper and mid spine. The whole thing will take about 5 minutes or less if you want to fly through it…BUT
✨Remember: stay present!! We’re not checking boxes here, so if you just want ONE thing for your practice, I’ve circled it for ya.

Would you add anything? Make variations? I’m curious… Let me know! Or better yet, record yourself practicing and tag me so I can see 👁️ 💞

Just a gentle reminder that EVERYTHING is an inside job. As within so without baby.

The more I feel I reject something the greater is the call to lean toward it. Easier said than done tho! Let’s walk the talk 🐾

Here’s to my/your/ all beings’ expansion 💥

Learning to implement boundaries as a form of self care is way challenging for a recovering people pleaser like myself.

This is a good reminder that, when I fail to do what I said I was going to do, I'm being out of integrity and sacrificing my freedom.

Imagine this: we want to give up sugar or eat healthier, but of course we don't want to go on a diet because we want to be free to eat whatever we want. However, any time a coworker shows up in the office with cake or doughnuts (or pizza!) we can't actually say no, or have to go hide in the toilet... Where is our freedom then if we can't say no when we know it would be best for us? Can you relate? I certainly do!
(this is an awesome example by of )

Is it easy for you to set and keep you boundaries? I'd love your advice in the comments.

Life requires of us to play different roles; daughter, sister, friend, boss, client… and so on. Shape-shifting identity consciously into who I want to be is asking of me to drop distractions, reassess priorities, design habits that support such change.

I’ve also realised that walking away from social media since I got pregnant has allowed me to release *some* of the need for external validation and comparison syndrome. My intention is to keep integrity, to be wholesome as much as I possibly can.

I was aware of that something bigger than me, now someone smaller needs me to show up as the best version of me than I can be. With kindness, and compassion.

The role of a lifetime ❤️

Movement practice.

Learning to move is like learning a new language. You learn so much about yourself. Some expressions come fluent easily, others get stuck and seems like there’s no way to integrate them. Patience.

✨Trust the process.

✨Keep practicing.

✨Watch how you grow. ✨

When was the last time you allowed yourself to play?

The last time you gave yourself permission to explore different routes?

There’s much fun and joy in the process of learning something new and challenging, but we forget, because we fear to fail at it. We fear other’s opinions about our failure (rather pointless because everyone else’s is dealing with their own challenges just as we are!)

I practice getting out of my comfort zone on the mat, so it feels less scary when I’m out of my comfort zone off the mat…
How do YOU approach challenges?

Let’s play tomorrow morning at 🙃🙃🙃

I’m there EVERY Monday and Thursday at 9:15 for fun morning flows to get your yoga glow yo! 👊✨🌈

::Milestones::

“As you set out for Ithaka
hope your road is a long one,
full of adventure, full of discovery.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
angry Poseidon—don’t be afraid of them:
you’ll never find things like that on your way
as long as you keep your thoughts raised high,
as long as a rare excitement
stirs your spirit and your body.
Laistrygonians, Cyclops,
wild Poseidon—you won’t encounter them
unless you bring them along inside your soul,
unless your soul sets them up in front of you.

Hope your road is a long one.
May there be many summer mornings when,
with what pleasure, what joy,
you enter harbors you’re seeing for the first time;
may you stop at Phoenician trading stations
to buy fine things,
mother of pearl and coral, amber and ebony,
sensual perfume of every kind—
as many sensual perfumes as you can;
and may you visit many Egyptian cities
to learn and go on learning from their scholars.

Keep Ithaka always in your mind.
Arriving there is what you’re destined for.
But don’t hurry the journey at all.
Better if it lasts for years,
so you’re old by the time you reach the island,
wealthy with all you’ve gained on the way,
not expecting Ithaka to make you rich.

Ithaka gave you the marvelous journey.
Without her you wouldn't have set out.
She has nothing left to give you now.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka won’t have fooled you.
Wise as you will have become, so full of experience,
you’ll have understood by then what these Ithakas mean.”
