On day 2 trainings started smoothly. Everyone full with energy and enthusiasm. Here you'll find pictures from the trainings PRET, TNT, TMHT and IPET. On the afternoon we enjoyed a volley-ball competition at the beach (team 5 won!). Later that night trainers organized different activities with their respective trainees :)

On day one we welcomed our amazing participants, by introducing them to our story and to the surprises they're about to discover during this next few days. The trainers for the PRET, TNT, IPET and TMHT were introduced, everyone was excited to start the day! Later at night, trainings started with the introduction of the participants for team building :)

Do you remeber the most exciting event of the summer? Train Your Summer Barcelona 2016!

When? September 1st to 6th 2016

Train Your Summer (TYS) is an incredible activity addressed to medical students members of IFMSA who are interested in learning, sharing knowledge and experience, and getting to know fellow students from around the world. We are looking for highly motivated participants, who are willing to interact and create a space for new ideas to grow.

TYS will be 4 full days of different workshops revolving a common theme event. Said seminars would be a Professional and Research Exchange Training (PRET), an International Peer Education Training (IPET), a Training New Trainers (TNT) and a Training Mental Health Trainers (TMHT).

We are working in this amazing project, but we need a little help for the Training Mental Health Trainers (TMHT), so we are looking for one more trainer! Do you want to join us?

The Training on Mental Health Trainers (TMHT) is a training for students interested on mental health, Human Rights and public health and who want to learn more about them and to explore possible ways how to support and promote this minority rights from the local to the national and international level. We want to explore possible ways how to support and promote the rights of people with Mental Health issues and to provide information and facilitate students’ advocacy work on Mental Health and related topics. Ass well, to empower and develop the competence of medical students and future health professionals in designing and implementing projects focused on social inclusion, specially regarding to Mental Health conditions.
