If you are on a gluten-free diet like me, do you still eat bread? I really miss Finnish sourdough rye bread and where I live, the supermarket gluten-free assortment isn't so great.

So I decided to try making my own sourdough bread. This blog is where I started, gluten-free sourdough starter. My starter is made from buckwheat, because I didn't find wholegrain rice meal at the time. This takes patience and care - kind of like a small baby! 😅 But the result is worth it, 100%.

Pro-tip: make sure you dry some, to have for later (just in case😉 ) when your starter has matured. Then you can just rehydrate it, and skip this first tedious step in case you mess up your starter later. Also could be a nice gift?!
