Samhain & Día de los Mu***os
A time when the veil is thin…
when we honour the ones who walked before us.
In Celtic tradition, Samhain marks the turning of the wheel the descent into the darker half of the year, a moment to reflect, release, and remember.
In Mexican Día de los Mu***os celebrations, we welcome the spirits back with flowers, candles, offerings, stories, music & love because death is not an ending, but a return.
Different lands.
Different languages.
We all come from love, celebrate love
Our ancestors are not gone.
They are woven into our bones.
Tonight we remember.
We honour.
We give thanks. 🕯️🌙💀✨
Ancestral Honouring Ritual (5–10 mins)
Light one candle.
Place a photo, name, or symbol of someone you wish to honour in front of it.
Take 3 slow breaths.
Inhale love. Exhale gratitude.
Speak their name aloud (or quietly in your heart).
“I remember you. I honour you. Thank you for walking with me.”
Place a small offering
a flower, a glass of water, a food they loved, or simply your tears.
Sit in silence for a moment.
Notice the warmth, the memory, the presence.
The veil lifts through love.
They hear you. 🤍
