“Choose a place to live that you don’t need a vacation from”

That quote sat with me for a long time. So I started asking myself:
Where do I feel lifted?
Where do I feel elevated?
Where does my well-being feel effortless?
Where do I experience real, deep inner peace?

And then I built my life around that and I planted that seed 🌱a while ago.

My happy place might not look like yours. Maybe yours is a small town, a big city, the mountains, the forest, the countryside, the suburbs, or a farm in the middle of nowhere. There’s no one-size-fits-all version of peace.

But if you’re going to spend most of your life somewhere, let it be a place that feels good to wake up in. Let your environment align with what makes you feel alive.

Vacations are beautiful. Necessary, Essential….
But your everyday life should feel like somewhere you chose on purpose and love.

A few lengthy 🇺🇸 Malibu stints.
Several long summers in 🇫🇷 sof.
20 years of London 🇬🇧 transformation.
A one way ticket last summer to Ibiza 🇪🇸 to live full time and make it our new home 🏡

Diagnosed at age 12 with Crohn’s disease, and what started as curiosity became devotion once I had my first appointment with a naturopath doctor in the mid 90s.

Over 12 years ago, I became a certified health coach and with my background, health challenges, knowledge, experience and education, holistic wellness hasn’t just been what I do, it’s who I am.

Wellness is a way of being, not just a practice.. and for a true sense of glowing wellness you’re physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health all must be nourished.

(Mornings I’m always in sets which helps with decision fatigue, plus I go right to a workout 🏋️‍♀️ 🧘‍♀️ post school run….but when I go out I go full glam;))) (however non negotiables is weekly blow outs, regular manis / pedis 💅 , and A.M

The secret to happiness isn’t in chasing constant highs. It’s in slow dopamine...the joy found in presence, connection, and meaning.

It’s your morning coffee ritual before the world wakes up. Cuddles with your kids.Getting cozy with a new episode at night. A hike with someone you love….Sunsets, fresh flowers, seeing a friend, a new playlist, or a good workout that clears your mind.

In a world built on instant gratification, choosing slow joy is powerful. It’s savoring instead of rushing. Connecting instead of comparing. Creating instead of endlessly consuming.

Choose a life that lifts you up.
Choose people who feel like peace and sunshine.
Choose habits and thoughts that align with who you want to become.

We don’t live once, we only die once. And it’s how we live each ordinary day that makes our life full, beautiful, and precious.

Slow down. Be present. Be grateful. Choose happy. 🥰

Being near the ocean and having a visual connection to it lowers your blood pressure and heart rate , calms your nervous system, reduces stress, improves mental engagement and positively impacts your mindset and motivation.
