Holistika Kitchen

Holistika Kitchen Whole-food nourishment, holistic nutrition & retreat catering. Supporting transformation through food, care & connection.

Holistika Kitchen is an integrated nourishment practice rooted in whole-food nutrition, eating psychology, and mind-body wisdom. I create food-led experiences that support restoration, clarity, and reconnection — through retreat catering, immersive detox and renewal programmes, and intentionally held gatherings. My work is grounded in the understanding that nourishment is never just about what we

eat, but how we feel, how we gather, and how safe the body feels to receive. Food becomes a quiet support for the nervous system, digestion, and deeper inner listening. Based in southern Spain, Holistika Kitchen works with retreat leaders, facilitators, and individuals seeking nourishment that supports both physical wellbeing and emotional transformation.

Most people think we’ve lost connection to the earth.

But watch a child…
and you realise — we never did.

Today is Earth Day 🌍

No instructions.
No effort.
Just presence.

The sea.
The light.
The stillness.

She doesn’t need to be told to slow down.
Her body already knows how.

And maybe that’s what this is really about…

Not learning something new —
but remembering something we’ve forgotten.

A little less noise.
A little more nature.
A little more trust in what’s already there 🤍

When do you feel most connected to nature?

Mid-April check-in 🤍

How are you actually feeling?

Not the version you tell people —
but really.

Energised?
Overwhelmed?
Somewhere in between?

This time of year can bring a lot to the surface.

More light.
More movement.
More awareness of what’s been quietly sitting underneath.

You don’t have to fix it all.

Just noticing…
is enough to begin.

Retreat kitchen prepping food..

Plate by plate.
Colours, textures, flavours… all coming together quietly.

Not rushed.
Not forced.
Just created with care.

This is the part people don’t always see —
but it’s where everything begins.

Food that supports the body,
but also the nervous system.

Simple. Grounding. Real.

25/03/2026

We had this for dinner last night..

A simple chopped salad with:
carrot, bell pepper, broccolini, parsley, mango, chickpeas, pumpkin seeds
• olive oil, lemon, a little honey and Dijon

Nothing complicated.
Just real food, put together in a way that supports the body.

This is often where I start with people ..
not removing everything,
but adding meals like this in.

More fibre.
More nutrients.
More support for digestion.

And over time,
the body begins to respond.

This is what “detox” actually looks like in real life.

Simple.
Nourishing.
Sustainable.

If the body is feeling sluggish, heavy, or low in energy…
this is where I usually start.

Not with extremes.
Not with restriction.

But with simple, structured support:

→ simplifying meals (whole, easy-to-digest foods)
→ creating space between meals for digestion
→ supporting hydration
→ reducing overall load (physically and mentally)
→ bringing the nervous system into a more regulated state

It’s not complicated.

But it does need to be done in the right way,
and in the right order.

This is where most people get stuck ..
either doing too much,
or doing things that don’t actually support the body.

When the foundations are in place,
the body begins to respond very quickly.

This is exactly what I’m building into a structured programme at the moment ::
I’ll be sharing more very soon ..🤗

This is what it looks like in real life.

Not perfect.
Not rigid.
Not extreme.

Just time outside,
connection to nature,
and small, everyday moments
that bring you back into balance.

After the Equinox, everything begins to move again.
You can feel it in the light,
in the air,
in the way the body starts to respond.

And often, it’s not about doing more…
but about coming back to what’s simple.

Food that nourishes.
Time outside.
Space to breathe.

This is where real change begins. 🌿

There’s a lot of noise around “detox”.

Juices. Fasting. Restriction.

And for many people, it can feel extreme…
or something that’s hard to sustain.

But this isn’t how I approach it.

For me, detox is about supporting the body’s
natural processes — not forcing them.

It’s about:
→ supporting digestion
→ easing the load on the liver
→ encouraging gentle elimination
→ creating space for the body to rebalance

And most importantly…
doing it in a way that the nervous system can actually tolerate.

Because if the body feels stressed,
it doesn’t heal.

So instead of extremes,
I always come back to the basics:

Simple, whole foods.
Regular meals.
Hydration.
Rest.

This is where real change begins. 🌿

Today is the Spring Equinox :: a natural point of balance between light and dark.

I always feel this quiet shift at this time of year. A pause. A soft reset.

As the days begin to lengthen and energy rises, the body often reflects this too. After the slower, heavier winter months, there’s a natural readiness to clear, lighten, and let go.

This is why spring has traditionally been associated with gentle detoxification : supporting digestion, liver function & the body’s natural processes of elimination.

Not extremes or restriction, but creating the right conditions for the body to do what it already knows how to do.

I’ll be sharing more on this over the coming days 🌿
