I live for a year on La Gomera. This island still arouses my admiration. Especially forest, one of the world's oldest forests. perfect place for healing.

If, after a year, I still have tears in my eyes, caused by pure BEAUTY of La Gomera, do you think this is the RIGHT place for me? ;) ...I think it is one of those 'rhetorical questions' :D :D :D

yeah! Last two weeks I spent on discovering new paths, mostly in mountains, but for the photos you will need to wait a bit longer. Right now I can count only on my friend's cameras, mine one is "in the process of manifestation" ;) but I promiss to share all of them with you, sooner or later.

Gomera and me, part 2
From Poland I moved first to Tenerife, where I spent four months, enjoying a view with La Gomera (and missing it!) each day, but still a little confused by such a change, such a decision, such a step! (and I need to admit, I needed time to get used to the views of a desert landscape of south Tenerife, which surprised me so much!)
I was sure, that with my "golden hands" I would easily find a job in one of the thousands of hotels or resorts...
Nothing could be more wrong!
As Tenerife was not the right place for me, The Energy, Angels or Universe (whatever you want to call it) simply NOT LET it happen!
But I made a lot of wonderful connections instead :).. and I did one short trip, as a timid attempt to taste my Gomera, just for 3 days.
At that moment I was very independent in moving, because my beloved, fantastic daughter drove all the way from Poland ,3 days, and next 2 days spent on a boat/ferry, to bring me my car(!). She did it with a friend, so my first time on La Gomera I shared with My daughter Magda, my son Lakis, Wojtek ( co-driver ;) ) Maja, a flatmate and my sweet dog, Sonia.
Since I came off the ferry, I couldn't hold back my emotions, tears appears immiediately.
Yes, I was touched.
First nights on a beach, under the most incredible sky, so full of stars!
First meeting with the Forest...
and first meeting with my, very good now, friend, Roberto, a guid from Garajonay National Park and my first discover of our connection with Atlantis, as we both wear an "atlantis ring"!
So here I am, the remains of ATLANTIS :D :D :D

It is nearly one year since I live on La Gomera and I'm still in love with this Island, more and more :)
Why La Gomera?
It was she, who found me...
First of all, long, long time ago someone told me, that Canary Islands would be the best place for me to live ( because of my horoscope!), but at that time it was pretty abstract for me, a single mother of two kids, putting a lot of efforts to make run our everyday life.
One day, few years later, I came to a point, where I was tired of struggling, carrying too much responsibility for all the world and I decided to find a place, a kind of community, but not one of these, following any "Guru", but simply, conscious people, open minded and with open, feeling hearts.
One of the places I found at that time was finca Argayal, on La Gomera, an small, unknown island somewhere in the middle of Atlantic ocean.
They had no place for me and my family, but this contact putt a seed for my future decision, mainly because thanks to that, I've started to read a lot about La Gomera and... I fell in love!
It was so strong calling in my heart, that I couldn't resist.
So, as soon, as my younger child finished a primary school, I was ready to move.
I didn't know any single person, I had no idea where to live or how to earn money, BUT I was sure, the Island calls me, this ancient forest, this piece of Mother Earth wants me to come.
So, I did!
