My name is Bruno, a chef from France. Four years ago I realized that I needed a big change in my life. I was working in a huge restaurant kitchen and did not have a healthy life style. I was not happy in my job and was feeling stressed and emotional.

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to travel in Australia and Norway working as a chef in yoga centers and was introduced to the Ancient holistic medicine of Ayurveda.

I took the radical decision to explore more deeply the ideas of personal balance and harmony and travelled to North and South India to learn the philosophy of Ayurveda through massage, nutrition, and practice yoga and meditation.

During this year of Ayurvedic investigation in India, I realized the impact of the importance of nature around and inside us and how to observe the manifestations of the five elements. I began to understand myself, my emotions and my body.
The importance of daily routine, regular massages, and organising my diet according to season and body type were the keys to create balance and happy life.

The path of deeper spirituality, involves observing, loving and knowing yourself - and it’s a continuing journey.

This is why I fell in love with Ayurveda - it combines everything I love to do - massage – cooking – healing - and helping others.

In the last two years I have given seven workshops on Ayurvedic cooking and massage and more than six-hundred hours of massage in India, France and Norway using my own medicinal herbal oils.
Today I want to share more by organizing Ayurvedic massage workshop for couple who want to go deeper in their relationship.

🥘The 6 Ayurvedic tastes🥘

Ayurveda shows us the importance of the six tastes in balance in our plate: Sweet-Salty-Sour-Bitter-Pungent-Astringent.

👉They all play a role in our body and mind and we should pain attention to each of them to manage our best our doshas-our body constitution (You want to know your Doshas? click here and you will received your Ayurvedic test) Each taste has an emotions and can have a positive and a negative effect, see the post TASTE/EMOTION.

👉Food is an essential requirement in life and one can attain good health by following a proper, natural diet. Most health problems develop due to the wrong eating habit and cooking methods.

👉Ayurveda is based on the belief that nothing is right for everyone and everything is right for someone. This belief comes from an understanding that each of us is unique. Each person reacts to the world in different ways. If we are all different, why would we even consider the idea that there must be one program of nutrition that is best for everyone?

👉Ayurvedic nutrition is based on individual needs and there is no need to guess which foods and supplements are appropriate for an individual, Ayurveda provides a definite path and protocol to assess what food is recommended for an individual both in healthy and diseased condition diet.

🌻The diet is decided not only to improve physical health but Benefits of Ayurvedic nutrition is also seen in our mental and emotional well-being. In other words, the Ayurveda encourage you to be an active participant in your own journey toward healing🌻

⭐Sweet taste⭐

🌺In Ayurveda each of the tastes can have a subtle emotional or mental effect on our awareness, as well as a physical one

👉In balance, a small amount sweet can promote a felling of love and well-being, a sense of satisfaction, joy and sharing. Sweet taste has a calming effect to your nervous system (We often say: “aah sweet!!!!”) in moderation of course (smile) it can be most satisfying, stimulating growth and grounding.

👉In excess, it can induce inertia, lazyness, attachment and possessiveness. Sweet taste’s effects in the digestion tends to be heavy and moist in our body, this is why by excess we can feel heavy and lazy and aggravate your Kapha dosha.

👉Try to prioritize grains who are sweet and natural sugar in fruits than candies or bad pastries and sugar who will increase the moisture in our body and put you to sleep.

😊Have a sweet day and feeling🙏
